This church is truly about helping, supporting and loving on their community. The kindness and support I’ve received from Ms. Leria and Ms. Sheila have given me so much hope in my future. I intend on getting to know other aspects of this church outside of their good-will and giving to my family. Everyone was very kind and I see Guiding Light as nothing but a BLESSING.

Bishop Jim Lowe part of the Gatekeepers Association, whose goal is “To Extend the Influence of God’s Kingdom into the Governmental Realm.” He opposes the first amendment to the Constitution. He supports an organization that intends to erode the separation of church and state to make his religion the default for Alabama. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I love this church community. After nearly 15 years as a member, I have nothing but good things to say about Bishop Lowe and all the pastoral staff. I have received the meat if the word and have grown up in faith in Christ and our loving Father God, as revealed by His Holy Spirit!
There is something for everyone at the Light! Primo praise and worship, full service bookstore, small groups of every kind, great special events, a coffee shop that functions as a restaurant, youth, collegiate, adult programs...need I say more? Wonderful people making-up a wonderful church!

Went there to see the flowing oil from the bible. The staff was sweet and kind and they helped my friends and I find my friends husband to get our seats. The place is large and family friendly. And the holy spirit really flows here.

I had the worst experience ever at this church. If you're not college educated and don't make a lot of money. Don't go there, me and some members have left. And I don't blame them. Some of the people that are in there. Are there for show. Bad experience. Especially if your fat.

We were there for an event on June 7th, and enjoyed it. It's a spacious facility with comfortable seats (movie theater fold-up seats) and friendly staff. The only disadvantage is a rather small reception (eating) area, compared to the space in the main auditorium. I would recommend this location.

A place of Worship and pure unadulterated bible teaching where I have felt the presence of God and seen miracles happen. A place for family, people of all races and backgrounds and for people at any point of their spiritual journey. A place to learn, fellowship and grow!

Guiding Light is one of 21st Century's most impressive and well run house of worship. Its state of the art facility is akin to a self-contained city. Extremely clean and well worth a visit regardless of your faith.
