Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is spotless, clean and very organized. My mom loves the food and I haven't had a chance to eat there yet but the food does look very good, especially the desserts. I would highly recommend this place for a loved one. Beautiful views and the grounds are very well maintained.

Place is clean and staff is friendly. Although I have not eaten here, meals look and smell really good. My only complaint is residents are allowed to smoke literally at the back door. Anyone(including non smoking residents) who do not smoke have no choice but to walk thru the smoke and breathe it just to get in. It would seem management would provide a place away from door so that the smoke cannot enter the back hall, which it does. Everything else seems to be great.
Edit: October 1.2023. Smoking has been moved from the back door to a separate area created just for those who wish to smoke. It was a nice thing to do for the residents who do not smoke and those of us who visit them. I would like to change my review to a five star rating. Everything else about this place is simply great.

My mom has been at Silver lakes for a, little over a year and we could not ask for a better place to take care of her. Very polite and caring staff . Highly recommend to anyone looking for assisted living.
