I have two children who went to Second Mile this year and it is truly a hidden gem. The tuition is affordable and unlike most services that are lower in rate, the tuition was not a reflection of the quality of care and education. Having an education background myself, I have pretty high standards for my children’s experience and this center met them all. Upon first glance, the location and older building can be off-putting and somewhat concerning but I voiced those concerns when I toured and they were addressed with confidence. Not only that, once I stepped foot inside, and inside my children’s classroom in particular, it was evident my children would be spending time learning and applying knowledge, not just playing. I would trade quality education over nice and new location and building any day. Ms Sherry was a phenomenal teacher whose love for children and years of experience were employed on a daily basis. There was structure, yet freedom. There was intimacy and support due to the small classroom sizes. And there was a diverse and wide range of activities, subjects, and learning experiences for every child there. I have experienced many learning environments in many states, that I do not recommend others to. But this one is one that I share with any and everyone. And that’s just the school. I fully support and praise the overall mission of the organization and all that they do to meet the needs of families in our community through their many outreach efforts. I am thankful to have been on the receiving end of such generosity and care. You will not regret giving your child the same opportunity too.

I love, love, love this school. From the teachers, to the parent parties this school is family oriented and Christian based.
