Had been trying to get into contact with them since the begining of July. After 3 emails, and numerous calls, I never got a call back from anyone. The closest thing to a response was a text that said "I can't talk now". It appears that the program director has been on vacation since the begining of July, at least that what her voicemail is still telling callers. And their office hours are by "appointment only". Program sounds like a good thing, and they boast alot of success stories on their FB page but after 30+ days of trying to get at least talked to I gave up on them. Thankfully I now have a safe place to go instead of the mission...Don't bother giving a reply to this, instead take that time and catch up on your messages and return peoples calls.

Just terrible. They had a house of eight living in a lead filled home. They don’t test any of the houses that they provide. They offered to house this family until they found something and also help with the new place but when the family refused not to take legal action because eight of them have lead poisoning, then open doors decided they wouldn’t help anymore which is terrible. It’s people like them who don’t get their way and decide Oh they’re not going to do something when in reality it’s their fault this family is poisoned. They claim to be Christian, but they must be antichrists… they definitely don’t work for God Jesus, Jehovah or whatever they call him

The workers at this organization made promises of helping me with my businesses, and becoming a home owner. I had a very drastic change in income and was supposed to receive services as a part of being in the program as stated in my lease. Never met with either one of them, nor did they reach out to assist me and my family. I ended up being back out on the street with my daughter and 4 month old granddaughter even AFTER I paid all of my back rent. I inquired to see what the reason was (because I was never given one, I even filed a motion to stay the writ AFTER they received their money) only to be told my family basically fell threw the crack because there were more clients than workers, so to me it seems like they pick & choose who they want to help and thats not fair. I am still homeless almost a year later I requested info on the womens shelter over a week ago so I wouldn't loose my new job and NOBODY has responded yet.

My husband was homeless and called several times leaving messages begging for help only to be completely ignored without even so much as a call back to say no! They profess to be Christians yet don't even answer a cry from a man when he has a legitimate need! This is NOT the place for anyone genuinely interested in getting help and getting back on their feet. That doesn't serve their bottom line!

It was a really good experience it just if you want the shift this is not a place for you you know they do try to help you get back on your feet but there are certain things that I dislike about it you know it's not a hard place to live they do ask you to do tours you know and you have to get them done you know I will throw a shift and by the time I get off I'm dead tired I don't feel like doing anything cuz I'm about to crash you know how do you expect somebody who works the shift to come home and do trucks and they have to be done on third shift I do all my cleaning we're not right when I wake up

At the women's home, if you get a couple of strikes, they kick you out on the spot, even in the middle of the night which is very dangerous for a woman. You guys should change that policy and not kick people out just because they accidentally forget to bring something to their room like a laptop.

It was a great place while I stayed there I've been trying to get help for me and my family to get back in there but things have changed they're just like they do almost everywhere and that has made it very much more difficult now to get the same kind of help

Open Doors prevented me from getting evicted when I was faced with unfortunate life circumstances and for that I am forever grateful.💙
