I had a water leak and my bill i received Dec 1, 2023 was over 600. I had to have a plumber come and redo all my pipes as it was flooded in my back yard and I wasn't aware of a leak. My husband went today and spoke with the ladies at the water dept and they told him if he paid 400 it wouldn't be turned off today. That was at 930 this morning he paid it and when we left home at 1 and came back at 5, it was off. How exactly do the ones in the office that said they would call and tell the one turning them off today to not turn ours off still have a job? I understand they have a lot to keep up with so obviously they need some help however I don't like being lied to, and after someone coming in person to pay it to make the issues aware they had, and they say they didn't detect a leak...ummm I'm sorry but a 630$ water bill since October 19th, would seem like there is an issue. Seems to me that they need some help to let others at the maintenance building know what is going on.

The Northeast Etowah County Water company provided a nice venue for graduation dinner. It was very clean and spacious. The attendants were very courteous. I would love to have a birthday party there for my sister in October.

Water office is housed at NE Etowah Community center. Monthly Community meeting held for all with community news,events and pot luck. Good time had by all.

Very rude women in the office. One Always rolls her eyes and shaking her head. Refused to wait on me because i didn't have my Bill. I try to just use the night box because i hate going there.

I had a water issueThey checked my meter quickly and the problem was easily solved they were very nice and responsive the lady in the office was nice and extremely helpful thank you NEEWC!

I’m just going to say it’s sad how rude these people can be an honestly I do not go pay our bill because of the attitude I send my husband to pay our outrageous water bills.
