My mother spent 5 days here and came home very fearful everytime we came near her. She complained of left arm pain and it has been 6 days since she was released and it is still so sore she can't use or lift it. The RN didn't seem to know anything when I was picking her up. The place seemed very chaotic and unorganized. I was given part of her pills and told to make sure they were all there without the med list. There were pills missing. When questioned about her emergency pills, they brought me that bag and some of her daily pills were in that bag. Because of the confusion and high anxiety my mom was displaying, we don't believe she was getting some of her daily meds that were placed in the wrong bag. It was a very grieving experience. We feel so bad for my mom for placing her there.

Good job, good pay, good people, love the residents the most. They’re absolutely hilarious. Some of the nurses can be funny too. I like the people who do a good job and know how to laugh.

The level of incompetence of the leadership staff is remarkably bad. The facility is dirty and not maintained. There are broken light fixtures in rooms, beds that are broken with alarms ringing incessantly day and night and pieces of the building's facade falling apart. The food is unhealthy and served cold. The staff to patient ratios are not in keeping with a facility that prioritizes positive patient outcomes. Getting sent to here is a one way ticket.
To all: Best wishes in finding the care your loved ones needs.
Be warned: Do not choose this location if at all possible.

Medilodge of Westwood is one of the worst facilities I’ve come across. They neglect their residents, they cut corners in any way possible. I bought items for my family and they were stolen before she could wear them, these items still aren't replaced. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

I would give this facility zero stars if I could. The facility was in extremely poor condition. The walls were crumbling, and most of the light fixtures had working bulbs. The toilet in my mom's room was broken, and the tub was moldy. There was no maintenance staff over the weekend to fix a bed that incessantly beeped all night. The food was terrible, lacking nutritional content and fresh ingredients—just a plate full of beige. There was no way to contact medical supervision to adjust her pain medication over the weekend. Overall, the facility was poorly run, with inadequate services, insufficient maintenance staff, and a lack of cleanliness. My mom called this place the “living hell.”

My mom has been there for nearing 2 months and although the staff typically all seems like they just started this week, today I met a couple of the long term ladies, Makayla and Ma? And they are great. Everyone is always nice to my mom, but a couple things of hers are lost. I wasn't told to label all her stuff but that is actually very important!

My dad was just recently admitted to Medilodge of Westwood for rehabilitation. To my surprise they started his physical therapy the same day. Most places wait until the next day. The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about him and they joked with him and made him feel welcomed. Thanks Medilodge 😊. I'd like to add to this review. Since being there bout a week my dad ended up back in the hospital with a serious UTI infection which turned into sepsis as well. He isn't happy there at all. Nobody goes to check on him only at medication time. His food is always cold and his room is to. My dad is 90 years old and is very weak and is a fall risk. He's not getting better He's actually going backwards. This was the only place that had a bed open. Management and staff need to communicate more and someone should always be able to answer ⁴the damn phone. Put it in your pocket. Sry but not impressed with your company like I was at first
