My experience with the Dothan Medicaid office was without a complaint or concern. I spoke with Ms.Copeland via the phone on Monday regarding important paperwork that was needed by the deadline of August 1( 8 days days from call.). She was very reassuring, professional, considerate,
and , understanding , Receiving the Information she mailed as she promised on Friday which left only a few days to return the needed documents. I drove to Dothan Monday to hand deliver the documents. Explaining the situation to Shawn in the front office. She was friendly, & helpful. Within 5 minutes Brittany came to the front. She too was very friendly and helpful. I explained my situation, she made a copy, and reassured me all was taken care of. I could not ask for better service.. Medicaid is a joke. We were approved for our first child but denied for our second, even with just me working making the same as I was before. Took forever to get a honest answer out of someone. Tools weeks to finally get to talk to someone who knew what they were talking about. Every agent we spoke with best around the bush with answers and telling stuff to do that was wrong. Dale County office is just as bad if not worse. Our case worker was the biggest b you could talk to. Had an attitude and acted like we were interfering with her day every time we spoke to her.
