Madrid Community Volunteer Fire Department serves the south end of Houston County in the 231 area. It being Volunteer based theu do what they can when they can they are backed by Southern Junction FD, Rehobeth Fire and Rescue and Cottonwood Fire and Rescue along with Hodgesville Fire. If need be the FD will call for Dothan Fire if Hazmat is needed. If your coming through town stop on by theres a coke machine out front ready to serve you $0.50 12oz coke products (filled by Coca-Cola not MFD). If you see someone there and would like to have your kids pictures taken on the fire trucks we are more than happy to let you take your kids pictures!
