UPDATE:
I called. And they told me to call back after 1:00. I called, but nobody answered. So I went there, and they are closed yet again. This time, "due to weather"! LOL! This is Michigan. It is winter. I see five snowflakes. I understand that these are volunteers, but still...! Do they really want to help people? It seems like a joke.

Closed. Even though door/window says open and posted hours on door/window says they should be open.

I live close to this place. It is not a good place to donate to. The donations are left outside in the parking lot sometimes for days, in the snow and rain. The owner got mad, called me a liar, and blocked me on Facebook when I said something about it, but nothing has changed. The donations are still out there almost every night. Here are pictures taken on several different nights. Donate at your own risk!

Twice now I've been turned away for help when they were supposed to be open due to volunteers not showing up or being late. I understand things do arise but it's been twice now that I've traveled to get help and they turn me away at the door

They are so helpful for the needy. I do not think they charge for anything. If you need something check on Friday only day open. But usually you get one bag of clothes per person
And other things maybe if you ask. The clothes are way upstairs. So be prepared to climb if you are looking for clothes or shoes

I will never refer clients to this organization again. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. I witnessed this first hand just yesterday, 9/20/22 and couldn’t t believe the way my clients were treated. This organization should truly be ashamed and re-examine it’s mission statement and core values. Maybe even a customer service training? Just some food for thought. Based on the responses from the “owner” it’s evident they lack the education and drive to succeed. This is apparent by the grammatical errors, improper verb conjugations, and misspelled words. I’m surprised they were competent enough to receive state and federal funding. Diane was the only employee who seemed to hold herself to a higher standard and treated everyone with respect. Diane apologized many times to both my client and I for the way we were treated by her coworkers. Diane did try to make amends and continue the sale, but it was too late. If there is anyone reading this, and in need of similar services, please reach out to me! I can point you in the direction of other organizations who are happy to help, and will treat you with kindness and respect.
