All of the staff that I encountered, from the registration desk to the nurses, were very efficient at putting me at ease. The OR staff introduced themselves to me as I was being prepped for surgery. Although I don't remember their names, their concern and care made the experience easier. I hesitate to try and name all of my nurses for fear of leaving someone out, but they were all very efficient, friendly, helpful and made sure I had any and everything I needed. Thank you all for the wonderful jobs you do taking care of your patients.

My son came in by ambulance for an accidental overdose on his seizure medication. From the moment we arrived the staff were professional, kind and very accommodating.

They took a very terrifying ordeal and walked us through each procedure that would take place, reassuring us our son was going to get the best of care.

We thank God that he has made a full recovery, and we are forever grateful to the staff!

My daughter went in for an endoscopy. The staff at Women’s and Children were amazing! From the gift basket and surprises they gave her to the wonderful care, it made the whole experience a lot easier and less stressful for both my daughter and myself. Would recommend using this facility to any parent having this procedure done to their child.

Dr. McClellan, who performed the procedure, was also very caring and informative. Truly appreciate him for helping my baby feel better!

Last week, my 16 year old son sliced his calf to the muscle. It was gruesome. We were seen very quickly, and everyone was so nice and helpful. The nurses did a great job of explaining everything to us (we ultimately had surgery that day to repair it), keeping my son pain-free, and making everyone at ease. Thank you for taking great care of us, and ER staff… you’re welcome for the live anatomy lesson! 😂

We just had the best experience delivering our third baby girl here. Andrew, Harmony and Janey in the OBED made sure my baby was head down and started my IV perfectly. Aubrey, my night shift nurse was so kind and competent and took wonderful care of us. Shelby my labor nurse was fantastic. Everything happened so fast and she was so calm. Cheyenne took great care of our sweet girl after delivery. My most memorable postpartum nurse was Jessica. I had a rough time the second night and she came in the next morning super joyful and could relate to everything. Lastly, we could not have had a smoother pregnancy thanks to Dr. Hamilton. He took great care of us during my pregnancy and made sure my delivery was flawless. We can’t imagine our girl being delivered by anyone else. As a former l&d nurse I can vouch that we received excellent care here!

They treated my daughter with SO much kindness! Courtney in the endoscopy unit uses her own time and money to make up goodie bags to give the children. It was a lot of stuff in there! Ms. Amy was precious too! They did great with her IV and that isn't an easy task on such a small child! It's like trying to thread a needle without see the thread! They got her with the first stick and was quick! They even brought her markers to let her draw on the blanket! That made her day cause when do they ever get to do that? Lol. She loved her experience and left feeling like she made friends instead of having to visit another doctor office. Dr Woodard is fabulous by the way! He is always so patient with the family and kids. You can tell the people here are there because they want to be and that makes a HUGE difference. Thanks for treating my special girl like she's a person and not a chart number ❣️

Recently, my wife and I had to bring our 1-year-old child in for dehydration and hand, foot, mouth disease. I was so impressed from top to bottom with the way your staff handled our care over the next 4 days of my son being admitted. The ER staff were so helpful getting us admitted right away and came in the room right away to take vitals. The doctor was quick into the room as well. The security staff were helpful as we were admitted pointing us in the right direction. I have been to hospitals where security staff are arrogant and unhelpful. Over the 4 days we spent on the 4th floor, the nursing staff and doctors were so kind and helpful caring for our baby boy. Anytime we had to call someone into the room for help, they were right there no matter how busy they were. They worked so hard to make all procedures as painless as possible for our baby. The daily cleaning and friendly attitude from the housekeeping staff was great. My wife and I were most impressed by how good the food was. We have never been to a hospital with that good of food. As a Soldier that moves his family around the country, we don’t have full roots anywhere. Getting good hospital care has been a challenge to the point where I never want to go to the hospital unless death is on the doorstep. The waiting times in the past have been horrendous (2-6 hours). I am so thankful for your hospital and your staff for caring for a military family with such grace and compassion!
