I would not recommend this place to no one. I took a friend there and was never told that you have to have your own toilet paper, food and even a bed. You would think that with a intake fee and weekly fee of $240 they would at least provide a bed, food and toilet paper. They only allow one 4 min call a week and visitation is twice a month in the Pell City park. Leave us the same this will probably be taken down and I'm picking up my friend in the morning.

So far they have impressed us. They are friendly and welcoming. If your looking to put someone in rehab seems they are the way to go. They have lots of fun activities for the people in recovery there. They have jobs they work and keep those in rehab safe. They deserve a huge thanks for their service to those seeking to accomplish a drug free life and long happy life afterwards.

My brother was in this program,
We truly thought him going here’ ordered by the court, was a great option!! After many years of failed recovery, he needed a new transition. The director TeeJay made it seem like this would be a fresh start for him, but it wasn’t at all. My brother outside his addiction lived a good life and came from a lifestyle that was considered by some medium class!
And coming out his addiction fresh start, seemed to be the best option offered. Now Ms. Ivey was the truth, he loved every thing she had to offer, he still talks highly of her, but As a recovery ministry TeeJay has a lot of growing to do in that area. Their are a lot of negatives To many to list. This post may get deleted or reported for review, as I have seen the negatives ones posted then removed. , but people shouldn’t have to live and be subject to less than, when they choose not to. Out dated meats, food donated to house by outside ministries/charities. As much money as he collect from the men in the house who gainfully work, there’s no way, these men should be subject to this. I asked my brother do the have someone do a grocery store run for the house, he told me no!! No one grocery shops for this house!
And the house manager and those designated to cook CANT!!
He said I don’t think they know what chicken is, everything is beef and pork!!
They have to initially pay a intake fee of some sort, they half to pay off once they get a job in addition to $240 or something like that a week, just add that up, if there’s about 10 men or so in the home or more!!
This is RIDICULOUS!! Where’s the RECOVERY in that
All I can say, be very mindful ask all the necessary questions and demand the necessary answers before allowing your loved ones to go here!!!
Choose wisely

Never been here but , the founder TJ has brought his men to our church (wordalive) several times and I’ve never seen The peace and joy of the lord on so many faces of men recovering from addictions . Also , TJ just published a book of his past life and what God brought him through . It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read . God took his mess and has made a incredible message of hope for so many

Seems very disorganized and they don't tell important information upfront such as a several hundred dollar intake fee, that the clients evidently work off the first few days. Men are packed into rooms with bunk beds. I'm not sure when any rehab is taking place.
