Visited today and there was only one person, Regina, working and she was slammed. There were 5+ people waiting to get an Alabama license and just as many were waiting to take permit tests. Regina was quick and efficient. After the office was so full, she had to stop taking new customers for the day. She knows her job and was efficient at it. Regina was very pleasant even though she was overwhelmed.

I took 2 of my boys to get their permits today. The lady was so sweet and sorted out some confusion we had very professionally and quickly. She is the only examiner in office this week so be nice to her. Most reviews have said she is mean/rude but she isn't she has set boundaries to ensure privacy and so everyone gets seen in a timely manner...She has a stressful job!

The young lady working there was nice, patient, and efficient. The problem was she was the only employee there. The place was filled with people waiting and there were very few chairs. The building is tiny and old and not handicap accessible.

Lady running the DMV in Fort Payne AL was extremely nice, patient and helpful. She was the only one in the office and had to handle and juggle everything on her own. There was 3 teens taking learners permit test, an asian family that spoke very little English needing a road driving test , phone ringing and others coming and going in-between, despite all the stress the lady running the office remained calm and polite, keeping everything moving right along. My daughter passed her test and got her learners permit. Thank you Fort Payne DMV.

Clark is a none helpful rude person. Would NOT recommend. Zero stars. If you don't enjoy your job get a new one. But treating the public poorly is truly unnecessary.

Regina Clark is always rude as she can be please find new employees so I don’t have to go to Gadsden to handle my business very sad I can’t even use the dmv in my home town because of anger issues and attitude from her zero stars

Waited over half an hour after they were supposed to open at 9 am on Wednesday April 3 2024. Finally we decided to leave at 9:36 and just go to a different office location for my permit test. Talked to another resident of the city who was also there waiting and discovered the office never opens on time and the last time this happened nobody arrived until 11 am the same day. Absolutely ridiculous.
