If you feel like starting , the process of therapy might be overwhelming. Dover counseling, makes the transition seamless from the starting process , to helping with your insurance benefits, to setting up appointments with a counselor who best fits you or your child’s needs and schedule.
Dover counseling is in a great location, with lots of parking. The atmosphere is warm and nicely decorated, cozy rooms, and really nice people!
We have been working with Vonda for over a year when we had transitioned from out of state.
Vonda is unparalleled in her ability to empathize and connect with my child. She has a wealth of knowledge in autism and spectrum life. Understanding not only from a parents standpoint, but also a child and young adults.
Vonda is direct, warm, and nonjudgmental. Her presence is calming and comforting. She naturally provides a safe space for healing while addressing issues and providing learning tools to navigate through the week. We do not need to lead topics. She is able to pick up on subtle issues that deserve more time to talk about. She knows when there needs to be periods of silence, and does not rush or push my child.
We are very pleased with Dover counseling.

They can tell you if your insurance covers a session BEFORE the first appointment but can't tell whether it paid for the second or third session until a month and hundreds of dollars later. Even if your insurance doesn't cover it they will continue to take your copay as if it does.

Dover Counseling had a very professional staff, never had any issues w/ making appointments, as all were made privately between me and my therapist. Front desk manager knew my name by the third time she saw me and would call me by name each week. My therapist was extremely kind and encouraging, she was an excellent listener and gave me the best advice. I felt a real shift for the better after having seen my therapist, Vonda over several months. She was amazing, and just what I needed. I knew I had strength deep down inside of myself it was just buried deep down. She helped me to find it again. Thank you Vonda!

Dover Couseling Sevrvice has a very welcoming environment. My counselor, Suzanne Feiner, made me feel secure on my first visit. I always feel listened to which allows me to confide my story, as well as, listen to her comments that are very helpful. I am very satisfied so far and look forward to my future sessions.
