Where to begin,
I lost wages due to being chronically ill. My home of three reached out in help due to an eviction notice. We were told we make too much money between only two people. One person is on disability, the other is working to keep everything floating and I just applied for disability. EVEN WITH A LETTER from a lawyer we were turned away, they did not even offer to help. They stated that "$500" is the "max" food budget - The hell? Food for ONE WEEK is the COST OF $222.00 (WHO IS DOING THE MATH HERE). Of the two people with current income, they "can ALONE cover all necessities" Cover all Necessities? I don't think so, they can barely cover a .10 cent piece of candy at the gas station. Even if we would have been given anything they would only provide $200.00. (Well thats our power bill, so you can't help with that? alleviate the SOME factor that we will be homeless soon?) - So what are people donating for exactly? Apparently and according to the elderly white woman handling our situation after calling for almost two months to talk to someone we would have $30 left over. This is not the case. I don't know how they figure the bills and cost of living here but this was an absolute waste of nearly 3 hours. NO you morons, the two people CANNOT "Cover all necessities" I have no idea what kind of crooked math you're doing, but let it be know YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE PLACE CONSIDERING YOUR VALUES AND MORALS. Ya'll can keep those purse strings closed tight because I don't think you really know how to MATH correctly none the less consider anything in peoples lives. G.A.R.B.A.G.E! STOP DONATING TO THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY JUST BUY NEW BAGS WITH YOUR DONATION MONEY!

Terrible service. Called last week for appointment was told to call on Friday to schedule an appointment for the next week. Called today could not get through. Called repeatedly from the time they opened for over an hour before they answered and was told sorry you can’t have an appointment call back Friday. After reading all the messages should have known it would be this way.

They wouldn't help me with my power bill
Because I couldn't come up with $150
This place really shouldn't be at all they just collect donations and money and do the minimum for those who already have money or who are able to borrow money from family,I have no one to get the money from so I didn't get help.PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT DONATE TO THIS NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION.THEY DO NOT HELP US AT
ALL. I'm not angry but people should know

They are AGAINST what they claim to represent. Why are you still even open?. I've read some comment,and they are true. It's sad ? that humanity has shrinkened and no one cares to be decent and nice. JAMES 7;1 HUMBLE YOURSELVES IN SIGHT OF THE LORD AND HE WILL LIFT YOU.

Look at all these one star reviews, yet the still have 3.1 stars so the can stay open this place should be shut down immediately

I call last Friday and spoke with a lady about getting help with rental assistance. She told me to call back Monday and I would be able to get an appointment. Which was today. I called at 8:30, the phone kept hanging up and a recording saying call back. When the young lady finally picked up with a bit of a attitude in her voice. She says to call back Friday they had no more appt. Make it make sense. How could you give away all your appts that quick. When I began to question her. She seem to get defensive. I think these employees are doing something unethical or their just shady. I won't call there again. They definitely didn't help me. Just made me lose more faith in humanity and religious institutions. I also feel they're biased attitude against certain people.
