We are a young family who had our first volunteering experience together through the SW Michigan Care Collective and we loved it! There was plenty of time and space for us/our toddler to take breaks as needed, with a quiet reading nook with children's books, and a new and very nice playground located just next door to the building. Tasks were clearly explained and staff and peers were readily available to answer any questions as they came up. We will be coming back for sure!

Care Collective provided a very welcoming and easy going atmosphere for volunteers. J was incredibly welcoming making sure we were comfortable, and clearly explained the volunteer tasks. I highly recommend contributing your time towards their mission, and you’ll have a fun time doing it too!
