Two days ago I went to the SPCA looking to adopt another dog. The staff were super nice and allowed me to spend as much time as I felt necessary with the dog before deciding on adopting her. When I asked for more information on her, they were quick to grab her file and list off all the facts they knew about her. Overall a great experience.

Although adoption fee is a little more than animal control's, you can tell that the volunteers love what they do, and thorough notes on each dog's kennel helped us find the perfect dog for our family. The cages are always clean. We have adopted two dogs from SPCA now. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a furry friend!

This is my personal favorite animal shelter in Kalamazoo. They have affordable adoption fees. And the staff are very nice, not to mention they take good care of the animals and if you wish to volunteer there, they don't charge you a fee for it. I like that too, this place is much better than animal rescue project. Five stars plus another five stars. Keep up the good work! 🙂

I adopted my Puppy Arrow and all the wonderful volunteers and staff were very curtious, I adore my loving puppy thank you so much for helping me. I would give more than 5 stars but it only goes to 5. You guys are Awesome.

A little pricey for their adoptions, but worth it. They offer a lot of community services to help you care for your pets. The dogs and cats seem well cared for. Their cat room allows the cats to free roam. My puppy, now 2 years old, came from here and was one the best purchases I've made❤

We had a very good experience and love our little girls. Doja Kitty and Benny May.But they are still trying to learn to get along. *Update* Doja and Benny are now buddies and getting along with each other. Yay!!! They have such great personalities and are very happy and healthy ❤️

SPCA provided a smooth adoption for my first cat. She is the sweetest girl, and you could tell all of the cats were taken care of well here. I would adopt with SPCA again!!
