VITA training (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). If you make less than 66k a year and typically pay someone to do your taxes, you may want to check out this free service. Sometimes centers are busy and there are long wait times.

Not very helpful when asking for help to get hotel voucher for homelessness. Told that woman that assists homeless individuals is only there on Mondays and didn't know where help can be found.

I think partnering with lyft is a great idea (i am currently homeless and without a vehicle), but I think they need to implement a separate phone line for those calls perhaps. Not sure how I'm supposed to get to a medical appt or interview, both of which are time sensitive, when I can't even get through to arrange the ride. I'm in fact still waiting, been 1:56:04 and counting. I was supposed to be there for 2pm and it's 1:40pm.... Kinda doesn't actually help if this is the way it goes. I'm rescheduling and trying to come up w bus money instead I guess ... At this point I'm just staying on the phone if anyone answers at all. This is the same line as crisis?!! I think I would have killed myself by now if that's what I was calling about, smh. Officially over 2 hours waiting now... It's a Thursday.
