Tthey are the only organization,that has kept their motto true. They e been helping people since I was a child, an my Mom would go there to get things for me and my siblings. I love every member, they took care of my mom, and helped her when she needed it, they e helped ME when I've needed it, and they continue to help others who need it,and they do so, off of donations. They make no profit. If you need help, furniture, clothes, food, and folks who will treat you like you're a child of God, go to them. They will always be there for you.

Do not go in there if you are not Christian or if you or your child struggles with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. We fit all 3 categories. My autistic and Bipolar child had a meltdown in the store and a female adult customer got in my 8 year old child's face and said she was going to "beat her ass." I asked them to call the police and they refused. Yes my kid can come off as an asshole because of her issues but the store should have called the police because an assault on a 8 year old child almost took place! Then they told me to "read the Bible." Reading the Bible will not cure my child's autism or my PTSD. Thanks but no thanks, we are atheists and we will not be back!! As far as the store goes, the prices are double what they are at Goodwill which is insane because I thought Goodwill prices were high. That is no way to help the impoverished community members when the donations they receive are free to them. $20 for multiple pairs of used shoes.

They definitely don't want to sell anything to poor ppl because mostly everything is priced too high. That's why the same things sit on the shelf for months. if something is worth money they mark it up also. Just let it go you'll make more money. You'll move alot more items instead of sitting on them..

They used to have good deals, but their prices are getting outrageous. They are often more money for a dirty, torn item, than I can get new. They never take damages into consideration when pricing. They apparently have an eBay mentality as well. Most items are way overpriced. Most people shop at thrift stores for a bargain, or because they are struggling. 5.99 and 6.99 and up for used slips, pajamas, etc., is ridiculous.

The food bank is a life saver. I love the office staff and volunteers. They go above and beyond, helping and making sure there is enough food for each client. Love them.

You can find good deals. Prices better than goodwill. Keep track of their Facebook page for updates. Many sales throughout the year. They are building onto the building but have hit a setback but I have faith that good things are to come in times like this.
Just make sure you look over the item because it can be very packed with items and some can get passed that have stains and such. Always look for the color of the day on the front door.
