For a new facility, this place is claustrophobic. The exercise equipment is so tightly packed together that I can hear the digestive tracts of the people around me. The locker room is uncomfortably cramped into what seems like two parking spaces worth pf room. The facility is located out in the middle of a cornfield where I can only imagine it is inconvenient at best for the underserved residents of Adrian where the YMCA used to be located. The staff I’ve spoken to have been very friendly.

We’ve been members for the past two winters (we usually just buy it seasonally to swim/something to do to escape winter blues) and we’ve been super pleased! The facility is great, a nice basketball court that they host kid friendly activities often in, a pool with cool features in it, a steam room, a small gym, a fantastic outdoor playground (you don’t have to be a member to play on this) as well as a small indoor one, and I’m sure other things I’m missing! Our kids love it ❤️

(I will note that it seems the moderator of this place may need to go through the review photos some people left, there are some pictures that are not of this place on here)

I love to utilize this center as a gym however, I attempted the childcare. We used to use other gym facilities daycare & have never struggled. My 2 year old started to cry when I left (which is normal) & she’s usually fine after a few minutes. I went to the locker room to get ready for my workout & checked on her through the window when passing, 3 teachers were in the room. 2 in which were sitting and doing nothing & 1 was sitting with another child. None of the 3 teachers were attempting to redirect her, take her backpack off for her or anything of the sort. She was still at the gate crying with everything how I had left it. Not happy with the lack of guidance especially with a teacher to kid ratio being 3 to 2.

Came back after a long break due to conditions at this place being less then optimal. Seems like whoever is running things now is on the ball!

Pool, changing area, and bathrooms are all warm and clean now. That's the main reason we have a membership. They changed the kids splash area features up a bit as well. If you stopped coming before because it was too cold give it a try again.

Changed my review from 3 to 5 stars.

The pool manager only communicates new changes with her lifeguards, not the water aerobics instructors. So it causes members to have conflicts and verbal fighting. At least one of the two instructors have stepped down the summer due to her.

This place is really nice, i go here for physical therapy, its pretty big with all the equipment you need, they have nice size locker rooms and they have a hoist for the pool for anyone who is handicapped.

No day pass... If you want to work out, Planet Fitness is open 24 hours a day, has better equipment and costs WAY less. The Y treats pickleball players very poorly, taking away precious playing hours during the winter. Most of the staff are nice, but the manager does not seem to understand that members are paying customers. He treats them like inconveniences.

I really like the brand new Y. It is always clean. I especially love the Expresso bike and individual locker rooms. I wish they would have a warm, adult friendly pool. Their pool is geared more towards kids. It would be nice to swim laps. I’m surprised with their state of the art rehab facility, they didn’t include water rehab ( warm pool, hot tub, etc….) I was hoping the new construction would be a new pool, but it is a playground for kids.
