I won't lie to anyone here, this is not an assisted living, or at least if it was it was never something I personally utilized. This is an affordable housing project and in all honesty it really is as lackluster as a lot of these reviews make it out to be.

I agree with the reviews that have anything pertaining to the front desk staff. The person on first shift at the front desk is absolutely immature and unfit to continue her work within the building in my honest and humble opinion. She has a history of instigating issue with residents, myself included, and then reports it to management as if she did not have any part in it. Mind you, I am 24, she is nearly 40 years my senior. If this is seen, get a grip, and maybe plan for retirement please. Allow the residents to have a breath of fresh air and a break from the stupidity.

Lazy property management, maintenance is a joke, and general safety is compromised with the idea of saving money when it comes down to HVAC. I reside on the 8th floor and the room regularly reaches 85+ degrees without being able to turn the air on.

As of recent, bugs have been an issue in some of the units as there is quite literally no real refusal of tenants that may present risks to the building and its integrity. Unfortunately, no matter the inherent benefits that come with the price of the unit, I need to move out.

Front desk lady was so rude. I was taking a delivery and asked to be let in and she made me wait in the cold. I was told it was policy which is fine, but the lady was so disrespectful and threatened to call up my job and get me fired. All I was doing was trying to find out if they had a rule against letting delivery drivers in

I volunteered to help with their annual picnic. This was a first for me and most definitely won't be the last. Residents there are very pleasant and staff there are awesome. One staff member I use to work with many, many years ago. It was great catching up with them. They haven't changed one bit.

The building itself is awesome. I am in aww at just how beautiful it is. The kitchen area downstairs is beautiful. I love it.
A huge thank you to you Rickman house staff for making me feel welcome.

I was trying to move in here but they gave me the run around and made a big issue out of my emotional support animal and every appointment I scheduled they were unavailable. Word of mouth is not great I was told they have a ruff crowd and don’t actually take care of their residents and it seems to be true. This explains the rise in openings.

The people who run this place are VERY difficult to contact. They set up a time for a meeting and then they “forget “ or have a “family emergency “ and never reschedule. If this is how they do business when you try to move in, I’m scared to think what they are like when you live there. This is just another way to profit off of the mentally ill. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Do not have your love ones live here they neglected my mom and mistreated her. The staff did not handle her medications professionally and gave False information and turned their back like they did not give a damn.

I would not recommend them at all.

They have gotten more strict with their rules. The tenants look sad and bored.
