Worst place to live, but it is a place to live. 4 years there and mentally, physically worst off than when I arrived from being homeless. They are money hungry. The staff are messy talk about everybody in front of residents, they don't care about the well being of the building nor tenants. Full of drug addicts & mentally unstable people that need care. They need a new property manager and company because even the people above the management don't care. They roommate you with the most disgusting people that attack you, the police don't take them. Roaches, bedbugs, trash sitting in halls. We had a dead body sit in an apartment for over a month because they didn't listen to all the complaints of smells. So much. I'm going to someone above the company.

I believe the front office manager was named Kim when I live there a few years ago. My friend told me that Kim told her she'd let her pick from the stuff first because of her skin color (my friend is black and I'm Latina). The management also defended a mother that I could hear abusing her baby living above me that I had to call the police on repeatedly (the woman that lived above me was black, too). Management made excuses for the woman beating her child. I would even call CPS but both would often say to tell management and they would say tell the other parties. Bed bugs there, in part because management wouldn't tell you that they were in the building, and people couldn't afford to do laundry or a vacuum so they would just get passed around. Management was super bad and enabling of bullying, drug dealing, & drug use there. I called corporate and one of their top corporate employees got mad at me and said that I was disrespecting them and hung up on me and didn't take my calls. I had to go even further above to report the serious housing violations they were permitting in the building.

Be careful going in there. I'm a delivery driver. She tried to grab my money, slapped me & chased Mr down hallway yelling at me running down the stairs. Another incident 9-2 430 pm who ever worked front desk... update another resident had me loose money cause she complained so much about the change I offered. Wanted coins she saw some penny's and complained about those. There is nothing I can do for them & never want to go in that building again.

Very bad place to live. My roommate got access to my room with a key she was given and she tampered with my stuff. Plus she was also looking for a confirmation by loudly slamming the door. After 2 days there I was looking for another place to live and was out in 3 weeks. My car was almost stolen right infront of the building to. Now the manager refuses to return money that I am in titled to. Very Very bad and unsafe place to live

St. Catherine’s serves as a much needed resource for the formerly unhoused population of Milwaukee. What they do there is give our most vulnerable population independence and a fighting chance to have a safer and happier life. Some of these negative comments on here come from a place of supporting systemic racism and it’s appalling to see. Thank you to Hope House, which is an incredible organization, for continuously fighting to run this much needed establishment.

This place needs to be ran by someone else. The women who manages this resident don't needs in charge of a dog shelter. She's very unprofessional walks around mad does not speak to residents and talks about other resident's. I have never seen anything like this. People come there because they are homeless and feels bad. The staff there makes you feel like dirt. So many people have left there and rather sleep on the streets. I wish the board of directors will do something about the staff.THEY ALL SHOULD BE FIRED!!

Very poor customer service when I called the front desk of this establishment. I called to confirm that four care packages that had mailed to one of your residence had been received. This was between 5 & 5:30 pm, CST, Wed, 12/30/15. USPS tracking confirmed that all packages were delivered between 3:07 & 4:44 pm, on Wed 12/30/15. When I asked for verification the women only could confirm two packages, would not verify tracking #s & when I asked her name, she would not give me her name, when I asked for a Supervisor she stated no one was available until next Monday. Ridiculous! In addition, I had to make a total of three phone calls, as she kept disconnecting the call...... whoever you have answering your phone @ 5:30 pm on 12/30/15, has absolutely no idea of how to carry on a normal speaking conversation.... This is VERY POOR representation of your facility.

Not the best probably not the worst either. After September 1, 2021, posted on Urban Milwaukee that Mercy Housing no longer running the day to day operations of this women's residence. The Hope House of Milwaukee now operates this women's residence. All of the bad reviews are true.
