We were immediately greeted upon walking in. I love the music is cranked up in the store. I was dancing while shopping. They are a little pricey compared to other Asian markets. Love how clean and organized everything is.

Checkout was overcomplicated & I wasn't able to pay how I wanted. I had a basket of items & was going to use my EBT card to pay for the bulk. I had a bottle of saki that I was trying to pay for with a debit card. Each time I swiped my EBT, it declined & the lady pointed to the saki. I told her that it should ask for a remaining balance that I could then use my debit for. She had me swipe 3x with the same result. There was a language barrier & I ended up using a card that I shouldn't have, just to be done with it. I left irritated.
That said- the selection & much of the prices are decent. The techno music playing was awesome. I wish they would have had matcha mochi and mochi donuts, because the nearest mochi donuts are in New Orleans or Baton Rouge.. & they're delicious. The instant boba drink mix that we bought was gross, though. The pearls broke apart in hard but gelatinous chunks like they were old. I'm not sure they recieve a lot of traffic to this store so it could have been just that.
The protein aisle was really cool. You can buy whole hog heads, plucked & frozen ducks, slabs of pork belly.. pretty nice to have access to uncommon foods & cuts.

If you have Some asap missing ingredients for emergency and this closes be good for 1-3 items . Suggestion Go Check the Price their Prices are twice or even trice expensive than other store. I haven't checked the expiration on other comments stating but the price I notice was Outrageous this not place to go if you want shop for large quantity grocery because they charge maybe 2x up to 3x price of normal other Market .Half litter of kikoman like $30 and 1 Milk fish is $25 more on marinated ones the pack of 1 instant noodles typically $1 is $2+ or more . vegetable and fruit not much selection. Compare to other asian stores this is "Whole food asian store" The place is well Clean and organized and staff is Friendly.if you not looking on price this place is good not crowded .

I rarely make posts like this, and only do so after attempting to resolve the issue directly with the establishment.

Typically, when I'm in Thibodaux, I drive to Houma to visit the Asian Market Phi Long. However, after arriving back at my apartment in Baton Rouge on Monday, I discovered that the jajangmyeon noodles I purchased were expired. Despite multiple calls to the store, I received no response. I then reached out on Facebook and received this response. I thought u could add photos to reviews but apparently I can’t.

As someone with a background in advertising, I can confirm that there were no visible signs in the store indicating that these products were on sale due to being expired. The noodles were shelved alongside all the other noodles, without any sale signs or discounted prices visible.

I share this experience to caution others: if you shop at this store, be sure to check the expiration dates on your products. I, for one, won't be returning.

So much to choose from its the best selection I've seen. Employees very friendly and outgoing. I'll definitely keep coming back. Food, drinks, snacks, liquor, beer and a great selection of bowls ? really nice stuff on shelf and in the many coolers

Love the store and the workers but the more I shop there, I have noticed most items are expired or about to expire. Prices of items go up every time I revisit and some prices are even higher than marked when scanned at check out. Prices are outrageous when compared to other markets. Sadly I'd rather make the drive to Terrytown or Baton Rouge if I need more than just one or two items.
