This is one of the absolute best places I have ever volunteered! The staff always make you feel welcome & valued... And the opportunity to make connections and walk along side those that have come to a state of homelessness is both incredibly humbling & inspiring. If you get the chance, I would highly reccomend volunteering here & getting involved with the Nashville community!

Our family participated in the Monday night ministry and we were extremely impressed! The leadership, sense of community, efficient organization, and sincerity in mission, to meet the needs of our neighbors, were all exceptional. They are extremely gifted in developing relationships and meeting the practical needs of individuals and families experiencing challenges. There are many nonprofits you could invest in, but I’ve not worked with any more humble and joyful to be making a difference. Looking forward to giving and serving with them again.

The volunteers mean well but are not given any tools to really help the homeless. Just another sad example of the industrial homeless complex.

And "all" the volunteers absolutely have my heart❤!!!!For all those I have met, you are the "SALT of the EARTH" And a LAMP SET On a HILL, KEEP SEASONING and LIGHTING UP THE WORLD!!! Mad love for my PLN Fam Bam! We have both been on these streets many years and I love being able to know our friends are being loved well with people that have the same type of unconditional love for them that I do. I want to be thankful for the free food they gave me. I tried to eat it but I could not. I could smell it was spoiled but I was hungry, so I ate it but my body rejected and I vomited. The chicken smelled so bad and was slimy, the rice was undercooked and rock hard. Who ever cooked it doesnt know how to cook rice or anything, seem like they didn't care or taste it, probably cuz they were scared too or its below them. It was worse than dog food.

The hours for the clothing closet should be edited. Unfortunately i rode all the way here this fine cold morning and wasnt aware the information on maps was incorrect. May have to wait till 2pm its nine
