I received my glasses when I was in need a few years ago, with lot's of hesitation and judgement from the local person running the program in Sacramento. Although, I am very grateful for the glasses "Thank you", I was very sad when I received the glasses and receipt. The receipt indicated that the glasses have chemicals in them that are known to the state to cause harm and in bold letters the first thing I read was NEW EYES FOR THE NEEDY. NEW EYES FOR THE NEEDY indicates an arrogance to an aristocratic attitude to the few in your organization. Someone has lost sight to People Who Are In Need verses people that are poverty stricken and in need of attention as indicted by the term NEEDY. Please, kindly consider changing this offensive and unsympathetic word. ❤️

I have been very blessed in the past few years of being able to qualify for the services of New Eyes. They are truly the unsung hero's of so many of us men, women and children, who do not have the ability to pay for something that would normally be way out of our own abilities to have. Not only that, they provide several choses in stylish frames. They don't look as though you got them from some sort of institutionalized place, this is especially important when improving self-esteem and confidence, I am sure for those who are trying to learn how to read for the first time, or for some who have felt that having poor sight has left them feeling that they aren't smart, or even causing them to feel unworthy of looking and feeling 100%. They quickly turn your dream of good eyesight and being able to keep up with everyone around you into a miracle in an amazingly short time. All you need to do is send off your information, and they turn it around in record time. Before long, so many things you didn't know, or see, or understand or believe...happen. Dreams really do come true! Thank you for your help and for my new eyes. Being a diabetic, and having to use bifocals, well that wasn't even a challenge for these folks. I don't know who they are, but I know they are angels!

I live in a very Rural area. There's none of the 3 stores that accept these vouchers within approximately 200 miles from me. I'm at least a 4 hr drive from 2 facilities. One is not listed this close to me. There's nothing I can do to get to an appointment for either of these places. They're both out of the state I live in as well.

Sister in law was so grateful to get her glasses as she is very limited in income. However prescription was made wrong and they insist on a payment to correct their mistake. they do not answer the phone as their voicemail is full.. If they werent a charity Id say they were fly by night.

Sent me the wrong glasses. The prescription is way way way off, and they are ladies glasses, to boot, and I'm a man. Sending them back, in the morning. Hopefully, they can use them for someone who needs that prescription of glasses.
