This is the saddest shelter I’ve seen. Not clean at all, we wanted to see a dog and they told us no they have to go to lunch. So they pretty much were denying us, when we wanted to help one of these dogs.
One of the lady’s was dragging one of the dogs by its leash, he was so scared. The people there really don’t care about the animals. It’s disgusting that they’ll hire just anyone.

I've lived in Los Banos for 38 years and have made all my adoptions here. My current pets. A dog 🐕 I adopted 10 years ago and a cat 🐈‍⬛️ of 7 years are perfect.

very rude, they don’t care about your pets and wont take them in if found baby animal freezing outside in the cold alone without the mother present

Unfortunately it is a kill shelter, but to me it seems to be because they're criminally underfunded and cant afford to house all the animals they receive. Their shortcomings are the city's. Having picked up my dog from them, I know how much they love their animals. Don't complain, adopt.

The staff was wonderful to me and my sweet scared little kitten! I'd highly them to any1 unsure what to do when finding an abandoned animal. They helped calm me and Smokey when it came time to get to get her fixed and her 1st shots.they helped us offset the costs so she can stay in her 4ever home...absolutely love these people!! Thank you from all of us!!!

This is our second dog we adopted from Los Banos Animal Shelter. These guys are volunteer run and they do an amazing job. I could not be more thankful to them for saving these animals and for saving so many lives. I cannot imagine my life without my two dogs. We drove 2 hours each way from San Francisco. I encourage anyone looking to adopt to go down there and save a life and enrich your own. The animals there are so amazing, so loving and if given a chance they will change your life too!
