They posted a bonded pair on their Facebook page that was only to be adopted together, and less than 24 hours later adopted the kitten out to a girl who already has cats, when numerous qualified candidates were willing to adopt the bonded pair together. Do not adopt from them or bring your animals here. They have no morals.

Took my cat here to get neutered on 1/22/25 and he came home a completely different cat. I'm not sure what was done to him but when we got him home and out of his carrier he was bloody and his face was swollen. I thought this was odd. 2 days after he was neutered I noticed he wasn't acting like himself. He was lethargic, had a very foul odor coming from him and he was excessively salivating/drooling. His personality was also drastically different and he was using the bathroom outside of the litter box and I assumed that these symptoms could have been from the neutering but now I'm not so sure. I tried to contact this animal clinic to get some answers and I asked if this is something I should be concerned about and the answer I got was "It could be". I ended up taking my cat to the emergency vet because I was so worried. I didn't get a definitive answer on what is wrong with him since I can't afford $500+ in vet bills at the moment but I did get him antibiotics and pain relievers. I recommend NOT getting your animals spayed/neutered here.

The Lenawee County Humane society is AWESOME!! In the past 28 years, we have adopted several dogs and cats. We LOVE the Humane society. The workers are true animal lovers. Every animal that we have adopted from the Humane society has been (or is) a beloved member of our family. I am thankful that Lenawee County has been blessed with such a wonderful organization for so many years. ❤️

Me, my dad and brother adopted a cute black kitten last year back in June ,and she couldn’t be the most amazing and adorable little girl ever❤️. The service here was amazing , we were able to adopt her immediately ,and she was home by Wednesday. If you’re thinking about getting a pet get it from here.

The lenawee humane society stole my sons dog. Our 11 year old dog was stolen from our yard & somehow ended up at this pathetic place on the 20th of this month. Even though we were looking for her & were just made aware that she was at this disgusting place. Coco is not one to run off however as of lately she has stayed gone/ outside for a couple days at a time. ( we have quite alot of land) Anyway once we were made aware that she was at this horrible place we called to get her back only to be told we would have to apply to adopt her & pay the fee. We have no problem paying the fee but why should we have to jump through hoops to get part of our family back that we have had since our 9 year old was a baby.

I took my dog to get spayed here and she came back with kennel cough and spread it to my other dogs. Someone else I know took their dog to get neutered here and he came back with and spread kennel cough. Other than the surgery went well for my dog

I took my orange kitty Cheeto to get neutered today and I don’t know if they left him in his crate all day or what but once we got in our car he peed all over himself and he can’t have a bath til he’s healed.

I was adopting a sweet kitty from here and right after I paid they told be he need to be brought back a week later to be fixed there which was fine however when I got there at 8 am I dropped him off and I come around 4 pm I waited 10 minutes to get him. I witnessed them almost giving someone the wrong kitty even though the name of the cat was clearly visible on his cage. Then I hear the same owner ask if they gave the kitty his vaccines they said “ No but we can take him back and do them for you.” Before his surgery I had requested for his vaccinations but when I asked did he get his shots they said no but it will take 15 minutes to get his shots I told her to forget it I will have my vet give it to him. And while she handing me my kitty she said he was licking his incisions because they didn’t give him a cone back there and told me to use a paper plate for a homemade cone. Please don’t go here.
