Mom and Dad (Dick and Jackie) are staying here while Mom recouperates. Everyone is SO nice, genuinely caring, helpful, kind and warm. Judy even asked if we could sing some a cappella things after Charlie played the piano. We obliged and fun was had by all. And by the way, the food is GREAT ) compliments to chef Mike!) and there are always things to do. No wonder Independence Village is so highly awarded.

Nestled among rolling hills yet still close to shopping and medical offices, Petoskey's Independence Village is a retirement dream come true. Petoskey is a beautiful community with lots to offer such as golf, shopping and the arts. The staff at this community are dedicated to treating you like family.

This a wonderful place. The residents and the staff are so engaging and welcoming. I provided a drum circle there last year and have just been invited back to conduct a 'Cardio Drumming' activity for next month on May 29th to honor "National Senior Fitness Day". This senior community totally understands how important it is to stay active. Their schedule is filled with continuous engaging activities. What a great place!

Independence Village Petoskey is a wonderful place for mom and dad. The staff greets each resident by name, and treats them like family. The Aides are respectful, and diligent. The whole building as a team works together to provide the best care, no matter what department !

I have been entertaining at senior living places for the last 7 years, and Independence Village is one of the best! Everyone who works there seems to care deeply for their residents, and they (the residents seem happy and well-cared for!!

The staff here are fabulous. So positive, welcoming, and warm. We came to visit my grandmother for Easter brunch and the spread was fantastic. Highly recommend!

EVERYONE at Independence Village is so caring and responsive to their residents needs. My father was a resident for the last two years of his life and the entire staff was so helpful and kind every single day. My father felt safe and happy . Their guidance through his passing made the entire experience so much easier than I ever imagined. Our family is so grateful for their caring and dedication. Thank you all.
