I honestly do not know why they are open and what they are receiving money for....the hold times are long and they DO NOT return callbacks....I've needed help over the years and never actually received help...This particular time it took me.complaining about an insensitive worker and requesting a supervisor callback to receive what I thought was help....after all these years a worker just informed me they do.not do intakes over the phone and I have to meet with an in-person case manager to get a shelter referral.....This was all new to.me seeing that they always told me I need to wait for.a callback that I never receive....I'm not sure who do.update trainings here but they failed tremendously....Finally meet a case manger Diamond...and of course she does not answer or return text or voicemails....So now I'm back at square 1.
.u call 211 they act like they have no record of u calling or no idea of what you are talking about.....they never have correct info and it seems like they tell you anything to get you off the phone.....WE SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO GO TO THEM FIRST FOR HELP.....NOONE IS CLEARLY WORKING OR HELPING THE PEOPLE..
.. the shelters should be empty by now because who are they giving the referrals too I feel that should be investigated.....When I went to apply for help there was only 4 of us in line..so what does that tell you? This is very frustrating because I am doing my part by securing a job...but it is extremely difficult to be there for a school of children and I do not even have my basic need of housing met....WHAT IS 211 REALLY HERR FOR?

Dealing with the case, managers can be pretty helpful. But the receptionists overall are extremely rude and impatient.

My experience with Impact has been nothing but lies.i need a shelter for a short time to get back on my feet. I have the chance to get a good paying job but impact isn't helping me at all. I'd like to give a better review but I can't because they don't seem to care.

Useless list of resources. Why do they have to refer you to homeless shelters are the shelters that incompetent that they can't verify with their own eyes? Or use their own judgement. PSA to all you businesses that refer people to call 211 to use your services STOP ! . 211 is useless!! You can't be that lazy to where you can't decide for yourself if a person needs help! Also the housing intake is a JOKE they don't call you back so that you can even get into a shelter or help. These companies REALLY need to handle the public themselves! You will be A$$ out messing with 211!!

Have not even been there yet and I am so frustrated/disappointed. Was told over the phone by a “supervisor” that we could do a walk in appt Wednesday as long as we paid over the phone 2 days in advance. Called to pay and was told they do not and have never done walk in appts. We can do an over the phone appt Friday instead but will have to snail mail us docs to sign and then we mail back and have to wait who knows how long for that to be submitted to DMV. I asked if In person how long does it take and was told I can call the DMV 48 hours after appt to see. The miscommunication on the walk-in has completely obliterated the plan to bring documentation to the DMV. Lady on phone does not care at all and was not willing to help. She also advised no documentation was needed…not even a ID for the person who has the appt. Sooo anyone can go and do this and say they are that person?! The point of a place like this id to HELP. If you have no desire to help people, get another job. So sad really.

Been literally dealing with them for over a year now, trying to get my license back. Ive spoken with Sandra over 4-5 times now and she always gives me the same runaround answer, which results in nothing getting accomplished. They try to force you into spending more money, by either not returning your phone calls or give you answers that take weeks for them to fulfill. The employees are always rude, & sounds like they are in a hurry to get you off the phone. When you try to ask for upper management, its always the same “They’re in a meeting all day” answer & honestly as a tax paying American Im disgusted with their services. Not only are they halting people’s lives, it seems as if they are intentionally trying to bypass deadlines in order for the customer to pay more. No one is held accountable & Im fed up. If anyone reading this has the number to corporate or someone that can hold them accountable for their actions, please provide it. New management is a must, because at this rate they’re forcing us to drive illegally due to their lack of care and desire to help.

If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. I have a disability, and one of the case managers, Sandra Hunt, treated me diagustingingly from the very second she found out about my disability. Her behavior towards me throughout every interaction was extremely discriminatory and could have had catastrophic consequences to my life, all because she refused to accept that my disability was real. Or was angry that she was forced to accommodate me. I will be filing a Civil Rights complaint against IMPACT as a direct result of how Sandra thought it was ok to treat me. I highly encourage anyone whose had a bad experience do the same in filing a complaint.
