I've been approved for rapid rehousing and Toni who is handling my case, just gives me a list of places to call in Milwaukee County and have of the properties on the list don't know what I am talking about when I say I have a housing voucher, so I have to do all the leg work and if Toni knows places that take it, then she should reach out to them to help me and my son get into a place. But all I been getting is the runaround the last couple of weeks. I would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy and certain people who know who you are should be terminated from there. In a nutshell is that nothing but a big waste of time and energy. So I will continue to stay in my vehicle with my son til I start work

Director should be fired as he was no help and left marks on individual called his client. He was supposely suppose to help but lies to many and then makes false accusations. The staff is semi professional as some good and others not and need training. Food was horrible as we had to eat out or use our card to buy food our bodies could stomach. Chores were insane when you had disabilities. Lots of bullying and favoritism. Rooms are bunks and ours wasnt completely clean as you saw bugs in the kitchen. Only some did their chores and others found their way out from doing the chores leaving it on others to do.

They only help and I qoute with shelter and two meals a day breakfast and dinner. Lots of insane rules wonder are we in prison half the time. Also got food that was no good one night daughter and I had diarrhea and she was throwing up what she ate two hours ago. But there excuse was a virus. Now me I'm very good at medical help my wife in nursing school but I don't know nothing they think. Wife had high honors because of my knowledge. Also bedbugs and roaches I wasn't told about when I was first interview there. Wonder if they just don't want people to know anything because they worried about their jobs instead of the guest welfare. I probably get kick out because I have to tell the truth. So be it aleast I can sleep better knowing that people know more the truth. Also they are like parents want to know everything you do sorry but you can contact my W-2 caseworker at least she's more understanding then these people. The stress and depression I have had gotten worst now since I been here my mental health is at risk at this place so I'm going to see my therapist to talk with them to keep me well clam down or someone's going to get hurt here.

So many unpleasant things are said about Hope House, but I'm a witness that all the negative hype is so untrue. First off ,you have a family environment , staff treats you with respect and dignity, sure they do they're job ;that's why they were hired, you don't walk on eggshells; unless that's what you want to do, point blank ,Hope is exactly what they give. You have to want better for yourself before u expect someone else to. Stop bashing Hope House because they are really doing the most good. If you mad buy some glad trash bags and move around. The staff here are the most understanding, loving, and encouraging people ever. I love Hope House, they gave my family Hope

Your walking on eggshells there. The staff doesn't believe anything you say. One staff member will lie on you because you speak your mind. She will really make you feel uncomfortable. I feel something should be done about her but nothing will, because remember they look at you as just being homeless. Very unfair.

Needed community service hours and the lady Bernadine, asked me about my hours and my deadline as if she really cared then when I told her she basically said and I quote "there's no way you'll get that done by then" like I asked for her two cents of pity. I was going to curse her out for being rude and sly towards me but instead I hung up. I doubt this place will be opened by the beginning of next year..
