Very unfortunate- great spiritual word, very cold congregational practices and environment. Not welcoming to Blacks and no effort to encourage inclusiveness. For example, it’s Black History Month, and there is not one thing mentioned in any of the bulletins this month. Can’t continue to overlook such racism, so I will not be attending anymore.

A gorgeous church, reverent liturgy, and homilies that make you actually want to strive to apply the Gospel to your life. Who could ask for more? If you want to worship with true reverence in Houston, this church is a must.

I am not a Catholic. I attended two services with good friends who are members of this congregation. The first was a Latin Mass, the second was an English Mass. The Latin Mass was especially meaningful to me. I've studied classical music since my early years, and sharing the Ordinary was amazing.

I love everything about this church, but Confession times during the week are impossible to get to!

Three times already I've been turned away from the 4pm confession despite rushing to get to church as soon as work ends.

A beautiful church- I could not help but reflect on the sacraments that have been administered at this beautiful church- where the tall ceiling is that of a ship - as we are on a journey from mortal life to eternal. How many people have worshiped, been nourished, prayed rosaries and blessed themselves in the light of these gorgeous stained glass windows, and under the loving gaze of our Father and Holy Mother. I was there during the Covid pandemic in 2020. I recall and pray for those present during the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic. Mary conceived without sin, Pray for us!

I believe Holy Rosary is one of the few original churches built in Houston more than 100 years ago. Traditional classical beautiful architectural style inside and out. reverent, pious liturgy mass with beautiful music. parish is run by the Dominican order which explains the inspirational bold truthful homilies given by the Dominican friars, we need more priests like them to alway preach and proclaim the Truth. they also offer mass in Latin on Sundays as well

I feel bad for leaving a negative review for a church but wanted to warn others. If you plan on getting your child baptized here, the admin personnel and the priests don’t seem to be on the same page. I don’t know if they’re racist or what but don’t understand why we could not baptize our child along with the white family after the 12:30 PM mass as planned. Instead, the priest told us to wait for the Asian priest who would do the baptism right after. We ended up having to wait until 2:20 pm and the asian priest had no idea about us. We had family and people who came from out of town so that’s why we chose this church to be more centrally located for everyone. It was frustrating that we were forgotten about when I had even confirmed via email about the baptism date and time a few days in advance. I also felt as if the Asian priest was rude during the baptism ceremony. All I did was ask if he wanted the Saint name or her full name bc I could not understand him due to his accent. His response to me was rude and uncalled for. This baptism experience has been awful.
