I helped serve lunch today at the FRM today. I really enjoyed seeing the men in the program I knew. Also was a blessing interacting with the public coming in and seeing how grateful they were for the chance to warm up and be fed. My prayers go out to them especially during these cold months.

I had the privilege of serving at the Frederick Rescue Mission for approximately 9 years. This Mission has made a positive profound change in the community of Frederick. With the Changed Life Recovery Program, wonderful meals two times a day blessing those that are hungry. A voucher room for clothing, shoes, and many other needs. Shower rooms for the homeless. Food everyday like a grocery store. Everyone I had the privilege of serving with, their heart was in their service everyday. As it is today. Those that work there also minister to anyone who needs comfort. The Director of the Mission and his staff has strived with all of their heart to make the Frederick Rescue Mission a place where God can comforting those that need.comforted. I have eaten so many times. I've never gotten sick and have always left full. The staff and I have had are ups and downs, I love them just the same, no matter how wrong they are lol.

Tried to call about donations. Attempted to use 4 for clothing donations and was told the extension doesn't exist. Tried 0 for operator. Told extension doesn't exist and system hung up the call.

This is a great place to volunteer and help others in need. The staff have hearts of gold and honestly care about the needs of the community. They recently rebuilt their kitchen that prepares food for their breakfast and lunch programs. The meals they serve are made very well and can range from spaghetti, chicken or steak.

They have bible studies through out the week. A food pantry Tuesday through Saturday. There are clothes distribution available. They don't require you to be a frederick resident but you do have to have an ID.
