if I could give 0 stars I would. I grew up across the street from here & recently got a membership for my daughter, sister & I.
A predatory incident happened at this location the first day I went. I was followed & harassed to the point I had to get someone to walk me back to my car and I personally havent returned since. My sister, however kept her membership for a while until we cancelled early February bc she stopped going too.

Feb 21- I called and cancelled. Was verbally told I was good to go & wouldn't be charged again.

March 21- I received an email saying "we were unable to charge your card". I immediately called and was told my membership wasnt cancelled. They made me pull up the call date and time & said they would call me back.
Anna called back and said "you have a balance of $80", which was impossible bc I cancelled it.
I then asked to speak to a manager and was transferred.

This is when it gets tricky. Anna "transferred" me. The phone hung up and when I called back, they put me on hold for a min then said "he's about to call you"
STILL NEVER CALLED.
After an hour I called again and told them I would wait on the phone for him to chat.

ERIC finally answers (whom btw said he's the director & I could find his name online, BUT his name isn't there. lol (thought that was funny) Anyways he got on the phone using analogies about other workout facilities policies and his Netflix subscription policy? Im just so confused on how this is considered a Christian establishment when the "Director" Eric, acts so detached from individual situations. I will never forget his lack of decency and respect. Do better. and get the predators out of your Christian establishment, Thank you.

My family and I have been members of the YMCA for over 18 years, but I have decided to terminate my membership due to an issue with my son's membership. As a college sophomore, he enrolled in the holiday program in December, believing he could cancel before January 1st without incurring any charges. However, when he called the Fort Bend YMCA 10 days in advance to cancel, he was informed he would still be charged. It’s disappointing that the YMCA, despite our long-standing loyalty, could not accommodate his request or reverse the charge.There was nothing "christian" about this so called christian association.Also the website is not user friendly, you cannot cancel or make changes to your account online.You have to call and speak to someone and their office hours are pretty limited.I believe this is an intentional strategy to collect monies from clients.Sign up at your own risk. I emailed their main office and have never received a response.

I cancled my membership in person last Feb and was assured by the lady at the front desk that I will not be charged as of march. However I realized I was charged for both March and April, I tried to connect with the manager in chrge to get my money back no response and just ignored my messages, this is unprofessional and not acceptable.

My family absolutely loves the Fort Bend YMCA! The childcare is the best part. My kids love coming to play and the crafts and activities they do are so fun. The wellness area is always clean and well maintained and there are plenty of machines available even on busy days. One of my favorite things about coming to the YMCA is the atmosphere. The staff and other gym regulars know my name and I feel like I'm part of a community when I come to exercise. I would and do recommend the Fort Bend YMCA to everyone!

A great place !!! I have a summer job here and I love it so much. There is a lot of things you can do here with family , friends and kids. For example you can do things such as yoga classes , the gym, youth sports for children including volleyball and basketball, summer camp, and there is plenty of more ! Check the website for more things you can do !

I feel like they are taking advantage of their members. My son signed up for a month of swimming lessons, which included 16 classes. However, three classes were canceled due to weather. The only option to make up these classes is on Fridays, but if there's a match or bad weather on that day, no additional makeup classes are offered. As a result, my son only got 13 out of the 16 classes. I wouldn’t recommend signing your kids up for classes here. I also decided to cancel my membership. Will not come here again.

I am retired and right now I basically go to the exercise/weight room to work out. This facility is very clean. The music is not loud and blasting so it doesn't compete with listening to my music on headphones. The staff is friendly. I have been going to this Y in Missouri City since the facility was built. I like it also because it is smaller and more intimate. It just feels good to be there. Carolyn Hopkins

Good weight room, good swim program, and good kids. I suggest they spend less money on things like a new electronic board out front and more paying their employees, who generally don't get much. I get that some adults are comfortable volunteering but when teenagers go the extra mile, they should be recognized for their contributions. I personally loved educating and taking care of the kids in the clubs and classes. I especially enjoyed the swim program until it got too cold to continue.
I would recommend all families of any religion and culture bring their young men here to grow amidst a healthy environment. As much as I could complain, I have had so many happy memories here.
