Interesting stores and restaurants, and not all are expensive and gentrified. The whimsical businesses are great. Food selection is pretty good. Always nice to see the street performers. Lots of homeless, though. Past a certain hour, you get alot of drunks stumbling out of the pubs. Mostly college and military kids, and tourists. During the day it can be a great place to shop and chill out.

I loved my time here. Great place with well cared for Victorian era homes as well as Arts and Crafts movement bungalows in the close by surrounding areas. Big beautiful shade trees as well as nice shops and various food and drink options.

It's a Friday and I'm here when most people are at work. Despite the cold weather, the few people I have encountered make the place warm. I'm happy to see signs expressing openness to diversity. I was also glad to see a bookstore, something I know is dying in some if not most parts of the world.

My 19 year old son, experienced Racist homeless man on bike, yelling the N word at him. He was walking downtown area with his white & latino friends when this guy just started yelling MF _igger, MF dirty _igger. Sad that 2022 our children have experienced this ignorance by hateful people that are intimated or jealous of the color of our skin!. If others experienced this downtown please report this guys ignorance, he should not be allowed to get away with this homeless or not .

Lovely architecture and such a variety of shops!! The homeless are there in droves tho....I wonder what the City does to support social programs...not in the know. It is such an obvious situation and maybe more can be done?
