I have never actually been to this place, I have heard a lot of deceptive things about it, the foundation has 2 copyrighted photos of alleged board members who are in horse racing on the website. I have heard that the owner who is allegedly the mom of Hall of fame jockey Kent Desormeaux was rude and cursed people out, I have meet both the Desormeaux brothers in racing and I could never see them being the sons of a rude woman. I even reached out and asked why they took two photos of Keith and Kent Desormeaux and used them on their website rather than take their own of them. Go elsewhere and get the care you deserve.

This is the most wonderful place I've ever stayed at or witnesssed. We have some such caring and beautiful people that care about us, care about our babies, cares about how we feel and cares about the well being of us legitimately. Very heart warming people here.

All of the staff and volunteers at the DesOrmeaux Foundation are truly good, loving and caring as they make a difference in the lives they bless. Mrs. Brenda DesOrmeaux, the owner and founder, as a mother and grandmother, knows first-hand that babies are a gift from God and a privilege to raise. They help give moms a great start in many ways by helping them and encouraging them to meet their needs and goals so that they can be successful in their lives with education and jobs also. Together we must continue to be responsible and do our part, do the work with a smile and joy that it takes to reap the benefits of God's plan for our lives. That plan is in the Bible in Jeremiah 29:11 which reads: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." He came to give each one of us a life of abundance. "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." - Matthew 7:7 I give them 5 stars and all my best. Great job folks, keep up the great work. You all are truly working for the Lord giving your time, your greatest resource, and love. May God richly bless you all and keep you all safe.

DONT EVER COME HERE!! me and my son was here not even long I followed all of their strict rules and still got kicked out for defending myself and my kid didn’t get any help while I was there I really did everything myself besides the Baby and Me Boutique it’s no help the director there now I had so much love for her and her daughter until they switched up on me literally her daughter works there as well and she won’t go against her daughter when her daughter was in the wrong the day they made me leave!! Knowing I had nowhere to go they didn’t help with hotels or nothing I’m dealing with post partum and I have a two week old and literally they just kicked us out when I did nothing but ask her daughter why my son couldn’t play with the other kids so honestly it was great in the beginning but it’s just horrible it drains you it makes you depressed you can’t go nowhere literally anybody else can disrespect the other moms and their kids and they never get asked to leave they can violate rules and never get asked to leave soon as I have a problem with the way my son was being treated the cops was called on me and asked me to leave and I think that’s very sad!!! The house mom gossips about the other pregnant moms she doesn’t like and that’s wrong bc it’s suppose to be professional but wait I forgot they hire 18 year olds as house moms to pregnant moms in their 20s and 30s also they hold everybody’s medicine and neither one of them have a nursing degree I’ve lost all respect I love Ms Brenda which is the owner but they need a new director and new house moms the way I was treated was horrible after I gave birth the director told me to take two pills bc she didn’t want me in pain and apparently it was okay for me to do it and guess what I almost lost my life so I’m warning ALL MOMS DON’T COME HERE UNTIL ITS UNDER NEWWW MANAGEMENT!? And all the other recent reviews that make this place seem wonderful they was asking them to go and put a nice review so that’s all games don’t believe it you want a REAL REVIEW here is the real one!

Worst place I ever stayed it may be free but is not worth your peace
. I have several videos of the director disrespting and cursing at the girls . I wandered why more girls didn’t stay there since it was supposedly such a great place . I quickly found out . Stress is not good for pregnancy and I was constantly stressed and in tears I left as soon as I could and would highly recommend that nobody put themselves through this horrible experience and there is nothing anyone can say to reply Bc I experienced this first hand. This is more like a cult that tries to brainwash you and I am
So glad to be free. Please if you are considering this as an option dont !
