I had a great experience living at cotton wood apartments. The property and the apartment itself were beautiful, and the layout of the unit was well-designed. The complex was always very clean, and I felt safe living there. One of the highlights was the pool, which added to the overall appeal of the community.

While reaching staff by phone or email could sometimes be difficult, they were always friendly and helpful in person at the office. Anytime I had a question or needed assistance, they took care of it promptly.

Overall, I really enjoyed living here and would absolutely choose this place again!

I have submitted a maintenance request more than two weeks ago. There is still no response.

Unfortunately the maintenance request site is down and my attempt to follow up there failed.

Edit 1: Cottonwood did come the day I posted this review. Thank you for completing most of the maintenance. Increased rating appropriately.

12/5/24 Edit 2: Followed up on getting the remaining maintenance completed, still not done. I got a call 4 days ago saying someone is coming in 10 minutes, no one ever came. Called Cottonwood back, they said they will update me and never did. Frustrated that Cottonwood only pays attention to google reviews and not tenants when trying to communicate through proper channels.

From the moment I saw the photos online, to my very first tour, and finally, my move-in date, I knew I wanted to call Cotton Wood my home. Alexis and Matthew from the leasing staff have been nothing but kind, courteous and knowledgeable. During my tour, they helped me find a home that best suited my needs and ensured everything went smoothly for my anticipated move-in. They've continued to assist me with questions and guidance as I get to know my home and community. My home is clean and peaceful, my neighbors are kind and quiet, and the surrounding area is cozy, with many stores and restaurants nearby.

Cotton Wood's rustic but modern aesthetic make for a gorgeous home and all of the lofty trees and foliage add to its charm. How can you beat a stream of water running through the community - complete with lily pads, dragon flies, and a comforting willow tree that welcomes you every time you turn into the entrance parking lot? Choosing to rent at Cotton Wood was a no brainer and I look forward to enjoying my new home for many years to come!

Charged us $1k+ random move out fee without notice, no detail and no explanation. Called and they said they've informed us - using our cottonwood address when we already moved out from cottonwood? Didn't realise this until they transfer the bill to third party debt collection companies

Maintenance service has been lacking, we have a couple existing maintenance requests for a couple of weeks now. Someone showed up last weekend at a inconvenient time for us, so they said they will come back on Monday. No one showed, and that's after they called and told us, they will be there in 10 minutes. It's already bad that we need to put in a couple maintenance requests, it's worse when they are not getting done!

I liked living here it was quiet for the most part. Management seemed nice the times I did speak to them but I rarely needed to go talk to them about anything.

Out of all the apartments we looked at in the area, Cotton Wood apartments had the best customer service. Our leasing agent was amazing! I emailed a lot of questions, and I received thoughtful responses so quickly. All the staff has been wonderfully pleasant.

We moved into a renovated unit, and the floors, appliances, countertops, and cabinetry all look great. Our Nest wasn't working, and someone was here the next day to install a temporary one until our ours can be replaced.

We have only been here a few days, so I can't really comment too much on living in the area. The community seems pretty quiet so far, and there are a few nice walking/biking trails nearby.

The property managers have been unresponsive to the poor living conditions at Cotton Wood Apartments, creating a hazardous environment. The apartments are infested with harmful PHILO flies, posing a health risk. I had to contact the health department to address the unsafe conditions. The management team's rudeness and unprofessionalism, both towards residents and maintenance staff, contribute to an overall negative experience. Living here feels like residing in a substandard environment. I strongly advise against recommending Cotton Wood Apartments to anyone.
