They are actively trying to get the right to practice 'conversion therapy' (which has been proven time and time again to be ineffective and traumatic) on MINORS legally reinstated. You cannot claim to be a mental health service and simultaneously be legally advocating to engage in abusive and traumatic practices based on 'religious freedom'. It's disgusting.

Went in for marriage counseling got an intake apt. The councilor named Karen gained our trust and asked to see my husband alone for a few sessions. After 1, session with him she told him verbatim I am mentally abusive and he she leave me because he can do better. How is that professional? The woman literally blew up a 20 years of my life. Do NOT go here. They should lose all federal funding.

It never matters how long you've been away or why you left. It doesn't matter what brings you back in or what motivates you to stay. When you walk through that doorway as an addict you know that here you are safe.You know that here there is help when you need someone to still care. You know that you are not alone. And sometimes being able to know that means more to some of us than anyone will ever understand.

I can't speak for everyone here but my children's former counselor Cindy Smith is a disgusting excuse for a therapist. After attending several sessions with them I discovered she doesn't even address any of the issues with the family but plays board games with them instead. She is quite bias and went as far as making completely false written statements about me and enabling more parental alienation against me. All I can say is thank God that my children have been removed from their abusive mother and placed with myself. Steer clear of Catholic Charities or at the very least Cindy Smith.
