Associated Charities is designed to help those in the community with the greatest need. They offer a ton of great programs for individuals and families. Some of those programs include a Back to School event (new clothing, shoes, backpacks for kids before school starts), Keep Lenawee Warm (coats and blankets for all ages each year), Christmas event (new toys for kids at Christmas), Birthday Closet (all the items to give your kid a happy birthday), as well as others. They also allow their clients to shop each week, getting household items and clothing as needed. Clients get to participate in these programs and they get to shop in the store, choosing their own items, at no cost to them. The Charities is a true gem in our community.

Disappointed. They are only open two days a week for donations. But the Thursday I went they weren't taking any! The army was!

This is a great service to those that are low income. Always a wide variety of clothing. Women's, men's, children and infants. They have really improved over the past few years. Just make sure you bring your own bag. There are no dressing rooms but if the clothes don't fit just bring them back. No questions asked.

Everytime my daughter and I go in the store, we are always welcomed by whomever is at the desk. We are treated very well there and no one ever looks down on us. I have read a few comments about only being aloud one big ticket item a month, well there is a reason for that. 1. It is so others can recieve a donated item they may need, if everyone was aloud to come in a furnish their whole home then what about the next person that does not have one single bed in their home and there is not any left because you came in and got three of them. So please everyone think about what you take and how much you take and make sure you really need it because someone else might just need that shirt you took just because you were allotted 10 items that visit and you really werent in need of it.
I have nothing but kind words for the workers and volunteers that work there, they are a group of very nice people.

They have been around for years and the current people that work there in the last few years don't put out all the stuff that is donated the employees and volunteers take what they want and they only allow you one big ticket item a month so if your homeless or Incase of emergency or fire if you get that big item they won't help you with any more the item limitation have owner down and to sign up isn't what it used to be there not the caring place they once were
