The staff here are rude and speak of the patients horrible. The person at the nurses dexk in the middle, front desk, with her bright yellow long nails, which should not be allowed, was over heard saying "I am tired of this already, it's time for everyone to go to sleep". It was only 3pm!!!! What is wrong with this facility. Shame on them, these people are supposed to be cared for, not abused!

I personally was surprised how kind and caring the staff was . It was very clean and the residents seemed so happy and at peace. Other facilities around here could learn a thing or two! Highly recommended!!

I don't have alot of experiences with nursing homes and assisted living places but I have some,and none of them are all around perfect I get it,but this place almost killed my mother! I have never been so mad in my life,in just over a week she had falling 11 times while unsupervised! Mind you she just had a stroke and brain surgery a little over a month ago,then they lied about her not hitting her head,when there is viable bruising on her head,! Well she fell again last night and split her head wide open,and I don't get a call from the supervisor till4 hours later! Everytime I've been there the place seems like a zombie horror movie just with real elderly people,! Needless to say she will not be returning and that place is going to kill someones mother or father, actually I can't believe it hasn't happened yet,but it's not going to be my mother!!!!! Please if you value the safety of your family Do Not take them to this place!

Don't send anyone who matters to you here. It's filthy, food inedible, no showers and after day 1 I could add to. God, please don't allow them to continue. Where's state? I could vomit just from the conditions. Oh, and don't expect silverware or food to actually be cooked let edible. If I don't get out of here, I will absolutely die from depression.

SHOWERS NOT GIVEN TO MY MOM!!

The place is old and run down. The ceiling was being held up by wooden poles in some spots. The nursing home part smells horrible. My mother was admitted to the rehab side; it was the only place her insurance would send her. She was admitted on a Thurs and left after 1 week and 6 days. SHE DID NOT GET A SHOWER THIS ENTIRE TIME!!! There are no showers in the rooms, but a shower room the residents are taken to. She was told showers for her would be on Tuesdays & Fridays. She came in on a Th, so she should've gotten a shower the next day, on Fri. No one came and got her for a shower. My mom let it go & waited until Tues. She asked about her shower on Tues and was told there was NO HOT WATER LEFT! They couldn't have waited for the water to get hot again, then come and taken her to the shower room?! She asks for a shower the next day, Wed; by this point it's been a week since her last shower, which was in a hospital room the day before she came to Aperion. She's told she can only shower on Tues & Fri. She says no one took her to the shower room either of those days. My mom is basically told "oh well, wait until Fri." Friday comes around and NO ONE GETS HER! Again, she stays quiet about it after being told no. She left the following Tuesday to go back to the hospital.

My mom isn't one to speak up. She never told me she never got a shower wbile at Aperion, or I would've raised hell in that place. Now I will say that, while visiting my mom multiple times, the little interaction I had with the staff was kind, but there's just no excuse for her not getting something as basic as a shower. I cringe when I think about the residents that live there full time in the nursing home. No wonder that part smells so bad when you walk through it... If you have a choice, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.

Absolutely disgusting. This place ought to be closed down. Very very sad. Bathrooms are filthy. What kind of person just dump their loved ones there. Some of the nurses are nice. It smells so bad. Windows needs to be open to air it out.
