Alderson’s (now The Grove) took excellent care of my Mom while she was recovering from a partial hip replacement. All of the staff and management were very engaging on a daily basis with her and us as family members. A big shout out to Major, Joel, Nurse Lisa, Dawson, Robert and Leslie for providing such a wonderful experience for her. There are so many others I could mention (the entire staff for section 1). Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts!

My mom came here on hospice. We had the best experience possible. My mom was very well cared for by wonderful staff. Luke Jonathon and Lilly all made sure my mom was comfortable and her last days were positive. My mom enjoyed her last days here, she laughed and I received great communication from all of the staff. My moms last day was spent with great support from staff and they did the most they could to keep her comfortable. I would 100% recommend The Grove (new name) to anyone who asks.

I was a patient last July when I lost my leg. I have to say that with out the staff and their support I would have had a tougher journey. From the moment I got there the staff was friendly and made sure you were comfortable and well taken care of. My nurses Luke and Charisse were amazing!! They were always there making sure I was good and getting my meds that I needed to take. If I was given something new they took time to explain things to me. Major, Maggie. Marcy and the whole therapy team thank you. They made sure I kept up on my therapy and taught me how to do some exercises in my room to get my strength up so when it was time for my prosthetic leg I I would be ready. The Activity staff was great! For the four months I was there they kept me busy and positive. The facility was clean and very well kept. My family and I are very grateful to the staff for all that they did. I would recommend Anderson’s to anyone who is looking for a facility for their loved one. The staff at Aldersons does care about their residents.

UPDATE: My mom has been through so much. She has been at Aldersons since the beginning of the year(24). It was a rough start for all of us BUT NOW everything worked itself out and for the circumstances she is very happy. She is loved and taking very good care of. She loves how clean the faculty is… she loves when they spoil her and bring her a second cup of coffee just like she likes it. She gets her grove on in the activities room when they have special events. Of course she’d rather be home and her family would rather her be home but for now she needs their help, their expertise. My brother sister and I have all the confidence that she is being well taken care of. It is a relief for us… we will bring her home when she’s ready.

I am currently at The Grove formerly Aldersons. I came here after surgery and needed PT on top of my wound care. The staff has all been great and helpful especially everyone in physical therapy. The nurses answered any and all questions I asked and looked for help with anything I needed. Management and administration are great especially Dawson the administrator heroes above and beyond to help. The building is old so some things occasionally breakdown but they are quick to fix things when they are brought to their attention. In total I would recommend this place to anyone needing help whether after a hospital stay or any other reason.

My mom lived there for a number of years and really had no complaints. The facilities are clean. My mom got two showers a week. She enjoyed the food. She made friends with a number of her CNAs and always enjoyed chatting with them. Staff was always friendly and caring. I highly recommend Alderson's.

The only reason I didn't give it a five stars is because my mom always had roommates who were in later stage dementia. Up until her last month she was sharp as a tack. It's unfortunate she didn't have roommates she could communicate with.

Absolutely terrible care management team. The nursing staff was nice but overworked like most places. Andy in social services was extremely unprofessional. He tried to prevent my mother from transferring to a memory care assisted living for dementia. He caused our family so much undue stress. He regularly ignored my emails/ phone calls & delayed our process for months. He also called my brother (who was NOT my mother’s medical POA) to consult with him & actually told my brother he could stop/ deny transfer! My brother & I were both seeking the transfer so it was really just shocking & beyond unprofessional! Not to mention I was administering all my mother’s affairs & my brother lived 400 miles away.
They also tried to deny my mother reentry after a hospital transfer. I had to appeal.
My mother walked into this facility but they would NOT allow her to get out of her bed or walk because of dementia. They have no memory care unit & are completely ill equipped to care for patients w/ dementia. As a result of being confined to her bed, my mother lost her ability to walk.
The administration here is so unprofessional, disrespectful, petty, and most importantly do not have the best interest of their patients at heart. Caregiving is hard enough without added stress from people are supposed to help families navigate care.

I was a resident here recently. I went for some pt. After being hospitalized for pneumonia. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was able to get the right medications for my emphysema. I was able to learn a lot about my condition. They also made sure I had everything set up at home. The only thing I did not like was the food.
