Lisa and Kaylee were very professional and pleasant to work with. They exceeded out expectations and provided the needed support with efficiency and effectiveness. This ensured that we practiced all required steps needed to demonstrate CodeArt skills in Scratch during the entirety of the class.

As a teacher, I highly recommend Code/Art! Their innovative approach to integrating technology and art is inspiring and engaging for students. The programs foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, all while making coding approachable and fun. Lisa and all the instructors are patient and provide opportunity to learn and grow. I am thrilled with the “low floor, high ceiling” approach to coding. It's exciting to see students light up as they bring their ideas to life through code. Code Art is a fantastic resource for educators looking to prepare students for a future driven by technology and creativity!

My daughter has been participating in Code Art's online program for several weeks, and I couldn't be happier. She is brand new to coding, so having access to an instructor and supervisor while working alongside a group of curious and creative young girls makes it the perfect space for their imaginations to run wild. It is challenging and new, so occasionally there are some hiccups during the learning process, but the environment is designed to empower the girls as they onboard this exciting new project. Each question is addressed, and every voice is heard.

My daughters took Code/Art Workshops for the last few weeks. The girls (ages 10-13) enjoyed creating a game in Scratch (Falling apples) and coded art (a face portrait and animated art) using the Khan Academy website. They hope to be able to take more classes with them in the future.

I can’t tell you how many online workshops I’ve taken in my life that have not been very fun. It’s not an easy thing to balance - keeping people focused and participating actively for hours without also overwhelming them. But I had such a great time doing Code/Art. Kaylla Torres is great in coordinating these events and communicating with participants. Lisa Hauser is absolutely stellar and phenomenal and amazing. A true teacher at heart. She had us all engaged in the workshops from beginning to end!!!

Dear fellow parents, I highly recommend your daughters enroll in Code/Art. Code/Art is one of those gems in Miami Dade County that once you found out about it, you want to keep them here! So please support them by enrolling your daughter in their classes. They will teach them about Scratch, Html, Java, animation and etc. The girls will leave their classes with a zest for more knowledge, and they will cultivate long lasting friendships that will only help for years to come. So as a non techie dude, please enroll your daughter in their classes. It will only help them.
