So my brother and I had an amazing time at the ARC of Jefferson County’s Ability Academy this past Saturday, June 24th, at Samford University. My brother Tim was on the blue team and Ashton Sartin (ARC volunteer) was his team captain. Matt McCants (UAB Blazers, Cleveland Browns) was the coach in charge. He’s a Christian too and led two amazing prayers. Oh, and Matt McCants’ didn’t lead “politically correct” fake prayers like “Dear Mother Earth” or “Dear higher powers”, or “Dear Father/Mother”, BUT rather he began “Dear Father God” and ended with “In Jesus’ Name, Amen.” Christians must be BOLD! Also, all the ARC volunteers, including Grace Johnson and others’ whose names I forget are amazing, God’s angels on Earth. God bless! Mark N Tim
