Very young and inexperienced GALs. There is emotional abuse occurring and he stated that unless there was bruises he ultimately didn’t care. He wouldn’t talk to any of my collateral contacts to get a better picture of what was occurring, even though it is in his job description. He said that anyone I suggested would give biased information. He argued to dismiss the case because there wasn’t grounds for a change, when the Judge overhearing the trial recommended it be heard and the commissioner also made an order that it was substantial and needed a trial. He completely failed at his jobs while running the clock. He didn’t know what Minecraft was— to get a better idea of how familiar he is with children.

I have a friend who use to work for them and she voiced her own concern about the GALs and how inexperienced they are with children or just the basic concept of them. I was hoping this would not be my experience, but it was.

Just another failure in the Milwaukee Court System and the money making scheme of it. They act like they are doing a service for lower income families, but in reality they are aiding to a very broken system to have their hand in the honey pot.

When I was going through my divorce, the court appointed a GAL from LASoM, Julie Whitney, to handle our case. Since my ex chose to not have a lawyer, Julie told me that she would proctor for my ex. I informed her that besides be immoral and unethical, it would be illegal due to the obvious conflict of interest (as she was supposed to be the GAL for our children). She said she would do it to “help me out” and shorten the time to divorce, ultimately ignoring me and she did it anyway. The temporary visitation granted my ex over 2/3 placement and didn’t give me a single full weekend with my kids throughout that summer (even though we were supposed to have equal time). When I confronted her on it she said she made a mistake but it was too late now as the schedule had been pushed into place by the courts. She was terrible, never prepared and often giving excuses for her poor performance by saying how over burdened she was. I will always remember her as someone who got paid to do a job she fails terribly at

Said they would find an attorney for me and call back the next day, 2 days later I called for them to inform me they didn’t have anyone and would give legal advice instead. She once again never called back before my court date and left me hanging.

I called this place because a person asked me to help her with a problem she has ( living situation ) about to be homeless. She had a case open with an employee that no longer works there but she didn’t know because no one ever called her to tell her this . I called two different people more than 3 weeks ago .. I’m waiting for someone to call me back . The lady that’s 71 years old had no choice than to go to a shelter because Apparently no one has time to return my message. I would give no stars but that’s not an option . Very disappointed . I hear people recommend this place don’t know why ? I guess it might be another because of covid excuse .. that’s just over used .👎🏼

I came for help on multiple occasions and was denied...Several years later all of which, I CONSISTENTLY sought help, You decided to send representation against me in the form of that incompetent old prune d/b/a as Julie Whitney who with extremely discriminatory practices, lied to obtain the order(s) against me. I have proof.

I am going to pursue the destruction of this lackluster corporation to no end. Mark these words. You are all frauds and do not know who you've treated wrong.

Furthermore what happened here is the definition of discrimination and Deprivations of Rights. You are all insane and will be tried in the highest courts in this life and the next.

Julie Whitney, you are the definition of dumb and didn't even possess the courtesy to proof read the work you sent out. You have committed PERJURY and are guilty of willfully making/producing false statements to a "judge" to obtain court orders and police power. I'm coming for you and everything you own. Thank you for this constructive Trust and your wilful breach of contract, oath, and public TRUST. You are the true danger to society.

I just called today and the young lady who answered the phone acted as if I was bothering her she was huffy and puffy over the phone and she did not fully listen to the case. I had to reiterate the whole case again and tell her to listen so that she could give me the proper advice because she sounded so uninterested and that I was bothering her. She was very rude and I’m not sure why they have her answering the phone. So disappointed
