My mother moved there 4 months ago from another local assisted living facility.. the most expensive one in the county. She lived there 5 years and says she wishes she'd moved the The Lodge sooner.. at least a YEAR sooner. That was when the new owners took over at that facility and it went downhill in the worst ways FAST. We want her to be happy and treated with respect and that is exactly the way it is now. It's more like a family than living in a "home". Smaller and older building, but clean. I wish the end she is in would be updated and brightened up like the other end- its very drab on her end and a better vanity with drawers would help immensely... but that is esthetics, comfort and ease of use- her care is the priority. She's mostly satisfied-so- so far, so good.

DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY HERE. They ABUSE the residents. Verbally&Physically and then the ADMINISTRATOR & UNIT COORDINATOR covers up for whatever is happening that day. They have spiders. It’s filthy. The residents are always covered in urine. They make fun of the residents. The food is WORSE than prison food. a week ago, a resident died because of the careless behavior of a residents assistant, and JESSICA KITCHENS covered it up. The resident was FULL CODE, and no CPR was administered until 16 mins AFTER the resident was found, and 911 was not called. The family doesn’t know. Stephanie Brodka UC, smokes her ‘vape’ in her office & in residents rooms. RA’s take pictures and videos of the residents and share them to social media, and that also gets covered up. Your family is not safe. Take them out. They also have bugs, and the air doesn’t work so your family SUFFERS daily.
