I have the privilege of visiting Oakland Rehab weekly as a vendor, and every time I step through the doors, I’m reminded why this facility stands out. The cleanliness is consistently impeccable, creating a welcoming and safe environment for everyone. A huge shoutout to the front desk and administration team—especially Lenette and Jasmine—for always greeting me with kindness, professionalism, and warm smiles. Their dedication sets the tone for the entire facility.

I also have to praise the incredible recreation department, led by Nicole. The programs they run are nothing short of amazing, and it’s clear how much care and thought go into creating meaningful activities for the residents. Michael and the entire recreation staff deserve recognition for their energy, creativity, and unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of those they serve.

Oakland Rehab truly sets the bar high for care and community. It’s a pleasure to see such excellence in action week after week!

We were very heartened when our 90-year-old family member, thanks to the care received at Oakland RCC, was able to participate in physical therapy after recent hip surgery. The staff is always friendly and engaging with both our aging family member and our family during visits and consistently listened carefully and met the needs regarding my wife’s mother. We would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone in need of their services, it is clean, bright and appears to be well run.

Everything and everyone at Oakland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center are outstanding. The nurses and doctors are incredibly attentive and knowledgeable and compassionate. The physical therapy room is enormous and they even have a car in there to help patients get reacclimated to operating a motor vehicle. The admissions team went above and beyond to help me get my mom transferred from another facility. Even though the admissions person had the weekend off, she gave me her personal cell phone number and assisted me over her days off to get my mom transferred. This place is very clean, very friendly and I am delighted to have found this top notch care for my mom.

I visited my friend at the Oakland Care Center, and they offered me a tour of the facility. It’s one of the nicest rehab and long-term care centers I’ve seen. The place is spotless, with a fresh, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The 1C staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond in caring for their residents. What really stood out to me was the way they treat their patients like family—there’s a genuine warmth and compassion in how they interact with everyone. It’s a place I would highly recommend for anyone seeking quality care in a nurturing environment.

We were recently able to secure a spot at the Oakland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for my 82 year old mother as she sadly lost her mobility completely with her onset of dementia in an unexpectedly fast decline this past summer. She joined the dedicated Korean Program at Oakland, which is led by Young Kim (director) and Michelle Chun (vice director). We have been extremely happy, and therefore grateful to them and their team of very capable and caring nurses and certified nurse aides. It has been a real comfort during a difficult time of transitioning a beloved parent into this new stage of life.

I wanted to call out the professionalism, care, and responsiveness of Young and Michelle, with Michelle providing a truly bright and caring energy to the elderly residents and leadership to the Korean activity director and team, who have been kind and amazing. Meanwhile, director Young Kim has provided us with tremendous guidance in the necessary administrative processes and documentation. My father, my wife, and I could not have managed the process without his guidance and help, and the administration/business team has been working with us in lock step. This was in stark contrast to other facilities we had considered/interviewed prior to discovering Oakland. It was clear Oakland had greater resources with a culture of assistance per what we learned of the parent organization Marquis.

In addition, we have been especially impressed with the nursing staff — and while there will certainly be others we are not as familiar with, Diane and Kaitlyn have in particular provided great personal care both during our visits and by phone when any update was necessary. As this was our first experience with a parent at this stage of life, we did not know what to expect, and their kindness and care have made the transition bearable for us.

Our sincerest thanks to the Oakland team for the continued care and professionalism toward all the families in the Korean program. Thank you.

This facility is a cut above the rest. On entering you are greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. The place was very clean. The care staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious. If the rehab staff can get the job done my next review will be a 5 star plus. This facility was highly recommended.

So I have decreased the number of stars I originally gave this facility. The quality of service I was not as it appeared. My sister did not received the therapy she should have gotten. The facility is not adequately staffed with therapists. She had no therapy on the weekend and less than the 60 minutes that allowed each session. At on session the therapist came for 15 minutes. She had one therapist who was a fill in. My sister said, this therapist did more for her in the one session than the therapist that was scheduled to her. My sister had to take herself to the bathroom because when she called no one came or they took a long time to get to her. She was finally discharged not knowing who would continue her in home therapy. Calling the facility to speak with the social worker who planned her discharge was useless. I called and left message for the social worker and to date ,my call was not returned . After a week , my sister’s doctor and insurance got involved and she finally got a therapist to come to her home. I would not recommend this facility. The place is beautiful but the service and care is lacking. I am very disappointed because I recommend this facility to my sister.

The place is it's clean and unlike other healthcare center I entered it smells good. I especially want to thank Mr. Morales and the staff on the 2nd floor for been so accommodating in finding a provisional bed on a Friday night until my dad's room was ready on the 1st.floor. My dad enjoyed the daily therapy. The nurses, social worker and staff maintained a streamline communication. Thank you Oakland you made a hard time experience easier to navigate.

Oakland rehab Healthcare center is one of the most compassionate places. And Well kept nursing facilities out there too! My husband is suffering from severe Dementia and the staff has been so kind and keeping him clean, and comfortable. Always in contact with me too about his condition and treatments. Wonderful nurses and doctors there! God bless them!
