If I could have done zero stars I would. A. Support service? More like stress
Service. If I fill out a request for an extension and you ask me for my plans for the next 30 days. .. then the same paper 7 days later? No. Because how 30 becomes 7 is a lie. Debbie Thomas didn't want me to have a say where I would want to move. She decided I had to move to Absarokee. I figured if I was going to suffer emotional abuse.. I would go back to him. At least it's consistent. Knowing our whereabouts? Get a sign in/ out sheet. Solves that. I was told by an advocate (?) when she would let me go to the post office. Now tell me how they help. I wouldn't expect a reply because you have an image to maintain. Debbie Thomas is concerned? Nope. Because I have decided what I felt I had to do and it's not what she wanted. Why didn't I have a say? Forgot.. case management is another term for controlling others

I tried going there today because I have recently been being abused at home and I found out I was pregnant and I have nowhere else to go and I have kids and dogs and they said they had absolutely no help for me it took her 2 minutes of them not even listening to my story all the way before they shot me down I'n helping me in any way for starting out as something that was a Christian Mission for them to help Abused women I sure didn't take him long to tell me no

While the potential for this center to be exceptional and effective exists, they fail to provide the specialized care young kids may need. Not to say all the staff fail to perform to expectations, in fact there are 2 primary teachers that are excellent but if other staff and transitioning staff that fill in are less so it minimizes the positive experience, consistency, and comfort a center would be expected to provide kids. YWCA Child Center has failed to adhere to their own policies and standards in daily operation and management of the individual children in its programs and perform poorly when working with additional support agencies (STEP, AWARE, etc.) and is not one I would recommend for another child nor are they particularly reliable or communicative.

We tried to contact the YWCA in regards to a female employee that tried to assault another female in the Walmart parking lot of the Heights.
It’s to our understanding the individual in question works as a nurse aid in the domestic violence shelter. This woman is now being charged with assault with a weapon, premeditation & is losing custody of her children over her public indecency. We never received a response from YWCA so now we’re taking it public.

On the evening of Thursday June 29th
The president of our Art Collective was assaulted outside the heights Walmart parking lot with a large mechanics wrench by Dacia DayChild. Dacia an employee of YWCA attempted to attack our president not once but two separate attempts before other Walmart customers had to intervene. There is video evidence & we will be posting this on every platform until YWCA responds in the appropriate manner & do so respectfully.

Dacia DayChild is a threat to others & her children & immediately needs to be removed from anything related to YWCA as she is the aggressor NOT the victim.

The president of our collective is an actual victim of domestic abuse and has taken to community outreach in ways to heal. Because of our President we have over 20+ art members, we've painted a mural at the local zoo. Installed free public library’s all over Billings, we continue to give back to our community in ways that heal others too.

Dacia Daychild is affiliated with YWCA & is being charged with aggravated assault with a weapon. Dacia Daychild works for YWCA & is causing violence & bodily harm to other members of the community.

UPDATE!

We also happened to discover YWCA discriminates against male individuals who are being abused within our community! We happen to have a phone transcription between one individual working with YWCA specifically stating the reason this male didn’t receive treatment was because it was determined he was “joking”. To that individual/supervisor, I hope you know you are the problem with our community & why there’s a such thing as toxic a masculinity. What’s even more devastating is to find out YOUR RELATED to this individual & he sought you out for help. Go blame someone else for your shortcomings in your career 👍🏻

Horrible place for any woman! My wife staying here for a little while and she got extremely abused by the residence there. I do not recommend and my wife does not recommend either!! An absolutely awful place. They say they’re anti-abuse but they’re the ones doing the abuse !!
