I am a 71 year old man with Parkinson's. I appreciate the help with oil expense. However when I called the Sanford office, Linda made me feel uncomfortable, as if I was doing something wrong. I had called the office all day, just leaving messages due to no one picking up. I was out of oil, because they made me wait till I really needed it. She was going to let me go without oil tonight. I had to call my own oil man and explain the emergency...It's hard enough to reach out for help, they should never let anyone go without in this weather or make them feel wrong for reaching out to them. This was my first year in this program, so naturally I did not understand how it worked. Thanks to everyone else there for being wonderful.

I dropped off my tax forms , first time doing this and the lady helped me out filling there paperwork. I also made an appointment with the outreach part of them.so far so good.

I love York County Community Action they help the community so much! But I hate Nasson Healthcare they are horrible! Their providers are like a revolving door they never stay with them. If your primary care leaves, you have to accept who they give you because if you change practices you lose your mental health provider and therapist. You can't continue to see them if you don't have primary care through Nasson. Plus they have no hospital affiliation which is terrible for many reasons.

H.E.A.P. is the reason I walked in with a friend so she could apply for heating assistance and the amount of red tape would surprise nobody! That being said the woman who assisted her was polite and very helpful in getting the necessary documents and forms organized. Wasn't busy when we were there.

Times are definitely tough with expenses and out of pocket expenses. I appreciated the rental assistance and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable

This place is doing a great job
Working with people of the community, helping all who ask , I have attended a home buying g course years ago , but never moved toward it because if another form of government...HUD housing put a stop to mankind's dreams as me for more I will give it all

People there dont know who's coming and going....they usual pass the buck onto someone else the help that they want 2 give doesn't fall through
