The pool is neat but small. There’s a kiddie pool, a lazy river, a slide and a deeper part with a basketball hoop. There’s a hot tub in a different area and a lap pool also in a different area. There’s a small indoor playground outside the pool area.

The grandkids had a good time. The play area is smaller than expected but the variety kept the kids entertained fully. The tree house is up pretty high and the enclosed slide is very slippery. Most kids flew out at the bottom. They all appeared to have a good time. Outdoor shoes have to be removed but there is a storage area for shoes and coats. Playtime was challenging with older kids climbing up the inside of the slide. Kids are expected to be supervised too.

I want to give this place a higher review for all the services they offer, but I’m frustrated at how seemingly impossible it is to get any sort of message to the right place. I’ve tried e-mailing the e-mail address provided in my daughter’s swim lessons registration e-mail just to get an immediate “error: unknown sender” response, and I’ve tried calling the Aquatics extension and leaving voicemails that quickly get cut off due to the call “failing” (full bars here on my cell phone; NOT user error). YMCA at ACRC: Please make it easier to get in touch with the right people, or at least to leave a message with them!

I don't have a membership but they still have a free play area available and I love it. The kids loved it and there was several things they could do (and did) so they didn't get bored too fast.

Maintenance of facility is poor at best. As a member for many years, staff needs to educate themselves on how a sauna is to operate. The men's locker room especially the sauna is not cleaned as much as needed. The hot tub is not hot. Gym rules are not enfored by staff. The pool hours are sporadic at best. Generally I give the efforts of the staff a D.

A great community space with lots of great activities for people of all ages. The space for nonprofits is great.

Classes included with membership. Parking can be super tight at peak times. Bathrooms and locker rooms are clean. Staff are phenomenal, both administrative and instructors! Upstairs is limited to 14+ (unless age 10-13 with adult on account and right next to), kids not admitted without adult checking in, kids age 10+ can swim alone if account adult is in the building. Unfortunately, not as "independent kid friendly " as the past. The days of $1 annual student membership fees and parents dropping off well-behaved kids for a day at the Y are over (circa 1990s). Facility, staff, and equipment are top-notch.
