Went to Wood Thumb for a 2.5 hour team event. We had the choice of making a cutting board, small vase holder, and bottle opener. Chris was a great host and provided enough guidance to make us feel safe and comfortable, but enough space to move freely and explore on our own!

I had the pleasure of attending a woodworking class at Wood Thumb as part of my company's annual team event, and it was an incredible experience! Chris, our instructor, was knowledgeable, kind, and had a great sense of humor. I was initially nervous about using the power tools, but he was patient and supportive the entire time. We had the option to make either a cutting board or a knife rack—I chose the cutting board, and it turned out fantastic! Overall, I had a blast and highly recommend this class.

Had a wonderful time learning the basics of wood working with Chris during the wedge side table workshop ! Chris was very kind, informative, and helpful. He gave very direct easy to follow instructions, and then let us explore the process and work space on our own. Highly recommend taking one of Wood Thumb’s workshops if you’re curious about woodworking and want to create your own special personalized piece!

We did a team building event here where we had the choice of making a cutting board or magnetic knife rack. Chris was great! Our whole team was pretty late and he was very gracious with making things work. Everyone was really happy with the end product.

Loved this event! We did this with a group of 10 (my team + our client team) and really enjoyed building cutting boards together. It was a great forum to connect/learn/create and everyone had a really fun time. We brought a charcuterie board to enjoy after the wood work.

Chris was an awesome teacher. I'd highly recommend this for team building, client meetings/outings, or just for fun with friends. I love my cutting board!
