Beautiful and relaxing place to watch the wild horses munch on hay. In the late fall their natural feeding is being supplemented with hay. If you've never owned a ranch, but have always wanted to, this is a great place to get a taste. The team has reached wild horses and burros from the Bureau of Land Management and really created a special place to enjoy these beautiful animals. Tours are from 11AM - 3PM (maybe just covid hours) and are guided by volunteer staff. We had a very knowledgeable guide that gave us an in depth look at horse & burro care and answered all of our questions. The place does take donations, so please give after your tour - and also has a small shop where you can get merch. If you're on the way to/from Lassen (which we were), it's definitely worth a stop.

Friendly people, horses are well kept and offer rides that fulfill intermediate to professional riders's expectations. The horses are full of life and show you a good time. You will need to pay attention and offer some controls to your stead. Thanks for a great time and for the lunch and cold drinks carried on horseback.
