The people at Wexford Missaukee Department of Human Services are very nice, kind, and helpful. I took my daughter there to apply for help and a woman was very kind to us with explaining a couple of things to her about the application and a couple of benefits we didn't know about. I would recommend this office to anyone needing help with food, cash assistance, or anything. They have all kinds of pamphlets on a table about programs also. They also have a sign in sheet for people to sign and then go up to the window. But, if there are people waiting and someone goes to see who is next they can call your name. I believe it is to also see how many people come in on a daily basis so they can do their daily and weekly employee scheduling according to which days may be more busy.

Got super awesome help which detoured a super meltdown in a rough situation. Missing paperwork, not knowing how to fill it out. Practically saved a life that day. && they were even able to fix my needs that day! Huge thanks again

OMG. Never once have a hard a problem until they "updated" this great system. Now I have been riddled with errors for 2 months and can't contact anyone. I have been holding the phone to my ear for 3 hours and haven't gotten a human yet.

Can never get through to talk to anyone. It's no longer a one on one with your own caseworker, you have to go through a network

Went in just for health insurance app, had to wait 10 minutes for the receptionist to hang up on a personal call, she was very rude about the sign in sheet then asked if I had a smartphone because they are going paperless and snubbed me for not, basically made fun of me for being poor. Would not recommend at all.

Went to file a report. They gave me wrong number. I looked it up online. Found it eventually. Test your numbers!
